I leased my 2009 Ford escape in May of 2016. I had brake issues and was told to call aeverex. They sent me to a pepboys that basically took my car apart to take so called pictures. The brakes and the rotars we're bad. They refused to fix it saying there's nothing wrong. During this two day wait, my front side bumper was damaged, popped out. I was told by aeverex and drive time that I had to take it up with pepboys. Of course, it was never fixed. I called aeverex and drive time back and was told to take it for an estimate. Apparently this plastic piece that was broken was caused from an accident that requires the whole bumper to be replaced or it will keep breaking. I did receive a veichle report on the day of prshase showing no accidents. Drive time called me a couple times offering to buy the truck back, not to fix it. I fixed it myself. It's been over a year and I have not used aeverex for anything. I have no missed payments and full coverage with infinity. I called today to cancel aeverex. I don't need it, why am I paying for it. Found out that during my times of my battery dying, my transmission fluid running dry, aeverex was supposed to contact me before it got to that point, never happened. I was told they would call me back with an estimate upon cancellation. Four hours ago. Estimate of what? Are they trying to take my truck back? Are they going to make me pay more? I would really like answers since I haven't got a call back
