Review: I spoke to one of the owners ([redacted]) about a repair to my vehicle, which he said he could complete involving sandblasting, removing dents, rust/rot removal or repair, and finishing the vehicle in primer. The rear inner wheel wells are completely rusted through and needed to be replaced. I was given an estimated time frame of about 2 months. I left a deposit of $1000 (which was the quote I received for sandblasting only)so the shop could get started on sandblasting. The vehicle was picked up just before thanksgiving (November 2013) and I contacted the owner around the 3rd week of January 2014 for an update. I was told the repairs were completed and the car was having the sealer applied. I went to shop in person, and left another $1000 to only find that the exterior of the vehicle was sanded (not sandblasted) after the body filler was applied. No other work was completed. I spoke to [redacted] and he then told assured me that the vehicle will be completed in a reasonable time frame. Since February of 2014, every two to three weeks I have contacted the shop and they keep telling me that they have to start the repairs. I contacted [redacted] finally on 5/13/14 and he told me the car is in primer (again), it is not sandblasted, and that it will be done in two weeks. As of today, they still have the vehicle and I have never been contacted by the shop for an update. The only way I get updates is to call and complain. 3.5x the original time frame of two months, the car is not completed with the work I am paying for, or completed in general. Every time I have gone by their shop, there are boxes in/on the vehicle and it has not moved. I have reciepts and pictures of the vehicle if needed.Desired Settlement: I would like my vehicle fixed in a reasonable time frame, and the final repair price to be adjusted to affect the quote they gave me. I was quoted $1000 for sandblasting, and $2000 for labor, primer, and the other repairs. I do not believe I should pay for work that was not completed.
