I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
There was a problem as water was leaking. Leakage determined to be buildup from shower head not cartridge and leaking out of the handle. Common courtesy for inspection due to water leaking after just paying $for repair months ago. Service call charge seems excessive as previous service charge was $and this time $when tech only removed handle and replaced the handle.

Since the homeowner supplied his own cartridge and trim for this shower, it is not covered by any warranty through Earl Gray & Sons, Inc. for the material.  Since the leak was not due to any work that was completed by our service tech, there would be a charge to the homeowner....

 Therefore no refund is due.

We arrived at 2:05 p.m. on 9/22/15 for a sewer line backing up into the laundry.  We ran the sewer machine through the floor drain and could not reach the clog.  Went to toilet in basement bath and ran sewer machine.  Homeowner then told technician that he had the septic tank pumped...

that day as well.  Technician checked the inlet to the septic tank - it was full of grease.  Used a piece of pipe to loosen around the baffle, ran machine again and was able to free the clog.  Ran hot water for 10 minutes, flushed toilets and ran laundry.  There were no backups so toilet was reset.  Homeowner signed work order and paid full amount of $379.77.  Technician left at 4:28 p.m.Homeowner called again on 9/28/15.  Technician arrived at 9:50 a.m.  Informed homeowner this would not be warranty as laundry backing up is due to drain clog from roots.  Homeowner declined service.
