I am currently in the process of buying a house and my appraisal was being done by Northeastern Appraisal Services It has been two and a half weeks since they came and looked at the house and we are days from closing I have still not received my appraisal I have had to file for extensions on the financing commitment since the appraisal is needed in order for the underwrite to approve the mortgage They blamed not having internet service for the initial delay in supplying us with the appraisal This excuse has now been used multiple times and they are no longer answering calls or responding to email or voice mail This is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with.In this day and age, having no internet service is like saying my dog ate my homework There is free WiFi just about anywhere these days I would not recommend this company to anyone In fact, I would have to say that you should avoid them at all costs The icing on the cake is that I was required to pay for the appraisal up front so I have purchased this service and this company has almost cost me the house STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
