East Coast Sales Reviews (2)

Failure to issue title.East Coast Sales has refused to issue a title for a trailer purchased from [redacted] around the 1st of May 2014.Desired SettlementIssue a title delivered by overnight mail so that a proper registration can be obtained.Business Response /[redacted]/Customer called JUST yesterday about the title issue, The original was sent out to her within 12 days of purchase, and customer called 5-28-14 and said they never received it, At time of sale they were given a certified COPY, with the 30 days temp registration , Duplicate title is being sent to customer again today 5-29-14GEEEEEEEEZConsumer Response /[redacted]/The response from this business is a lie. NO title was sent after my purchase. I called and spoke to this woman on the 29 of May and she told me that "he signed some this week and was going to sign more and hopefully it would go out soon." They NEVER SENT THE TITLE. SHE IS LYING. I have to travel out of state. I need to make sure I m driving legally. She also said she would email me a new bill of purchase so that I had another 30 days since they can't seem to get the title in the mail to me. She never emailed that either. THIS BUSINESS IS LYING. I need the title this week. Final Business Response /[redacted]/

East Coast Sales has failed to deliver a NEW trailer in a timely fashion and refuses deliver trailer or refund security deposit.Timeline:Custom trailer order placed May 18, 2015... Was told 4-6 weeks for delivery. So ideally it should have been done late June. Nope. Call after call into them they couldn't tell me the status. 4th of July week the plant, which [redacted] (east coast owner) claimed to own which I later found out he didn't by [redacted] (east coast employee and probably the only one that cares about he customer) , was closed so lost 1 full week to the trailer build. Found this out from once again having to drive down there since calls into them gets no where.Promise after missed promise ship date they said it would definitely be in by 7/19.I show up on 7/19 at lunch time... Trailer damage and the pre-ordered ac not installed. No phone ever telling me it wasn't ready. So lost time and gas. Was promised by [redacted] it would be ready early next week.Week of 7/27... Again showed up ac wasn't installed and no work was done. Promised once again next week.8/4 showed up again ... No AC and damage still present. Promised once again by [redacted] (owner) for a 8/6 pickup. Here it is 8/7. No manager is around to address my concerns... AC is installed but body damage and other items still not addressed. 8/10 - Phone call was placed with owner [redacted] and front desk (courtney) stating I needed an update by lunch on 8/12 on whether they will refund my security deposit or deliver my new trailer. 8/12 still no wordDesired SettlementEither refund $1000 security deposit or deliver my trailer in working condition free of damaged panels, interior, etc.Business Response /[redacted]/The customer ordered a SPECIAL ORDER Trailer from our dealership BRAND NEW. The trailer had 2 smalldings in 1 of the panels and they were replaced by MYSELF, per customer ( this was a transit damage issue. The Customer IS NOT ALLOWED back at our dealership due to the threating comments and actions during his last visit. This guy is CERTIFIED CRAZY. The deposit of 1,000.00 will be refunded when the trailer is sold. IT IS STILL AT OUR DEALERSHIP and listed for sale .There are NO ISSUES with this new Special order trailer what so ever, This Trailer is BRAND NEWWe at EAST COAST pride ourselves as being the top Retail trailer dealership in the southeast as well as being a NATIONAL AWARD recipient. We treat everyone fairly and provide great products at great pricing to everyone, including being the top Trailer supplier the US Government, as well as most NCGOV. departments. We don't cheat or take from anyone, This Crazy guy can either pay for his trailer and we will deliver it to him or he will get a full refund when the trailer he ordered is sold. [redacted]ManagerConsumer Response /[redacted]/When I last talk with [redacted] (East Coast Employee) on 8/19 he was unaware his manager stated such a thing and he was trying to make good on the trailer. Supposedly there were new body panels being delivered today. As for the trailer, it is NOT in a new condition. It is still damaged and the panel that [redacted] supposedly "FIXED" was not done properly (he placed a couple of folds in the sheet metal along with failing to replace all the screws).I want to go on record that [redacted]/employee(s) also caused new damage to another body panel at the passenger end of the trailer along with damaging a panel on trailers interior. I have photos that are date stamped showing the trailer condition when it first arrived at his facility 7/19 along with the recent damaged caused by his local workers/himself while the trailer sat on his lot. Since the Manager ([redacted]) refuses to live up to his signed agreement of delivering a new trailer he is liable to pay back my $1000 ASAP.I also want to note, [redacted] has never ever returned any of my calls put into him. I have my phone records to prove it. [redacted] has made false promises that the trailer was ready when in fact it wasn't. I have my text records to prove that.East Coast Sales has 2 options:1) He can be a responsible business owner, apologize for his actions, name calling, and provide a new trailer by 8/24/2015 per our agreement.2) Return my $1000 deposit by 8/24/2015 for failure to live up to his end of an agreement.Failure will result in a law suite which I have already started the ball rolling on.Final Business Response /[redacted]/I look forward to the law suit. This guy is certified crazy and NOT Allowed back at the dealership we will refund the deposit when the new trailer he ordered is sold. The trailer is brand new Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)East coast sales has no rights withholding a deposit in something they refuse to fullfill.
