I have reviewed there account and there are no notes from either the gym or the billing company about them cancelling The procedure that is stated on the agreement they signed states that if you need to for any reason cancel your contract you must do it in writing Unfortunately because we have no documentations or notes in the system I am not able to refund them It would be my pleasure to cancel both husband and wives membership but I do not have his wife's nameThanks in advance- Rory S [redacted] East Falls Fitness General Manager

Review: I signed up for Sweat Fitness and Frames in Feb 2014. They merged with East falls fitness which I have been to in the past as a visitor and didn't like. I felt like I was a bait and switch victim. I tried numerous times to cancel my contract via e-mail and the phone. They have now stopped replying to my requests. I don't feel I am getting what I signed up for.Desired Settlement: I want the gym to cancel my contract and stop charging me.

Review: I signed up with Sweat Fitness and Frames at the [redacted]. location. I signed up in the March-April 2013 time frame of 2013. In June 2013 I froze my account for 3-6 months, and later when I was checking my balance on my bank statements, Sweat WAS NOT one of the payments on my transactions. The month I designated to a Sweat Fitness employee to UNFREEZE my account, they failed to withdraw the monthly payment in the amount of $35. This went on for 6 consecutive months with no charges applied to my account, so I joined a new gym thinking my Sweat contract was no longer valid. Recently, my debit card was hacked for other reasons not regarding Sweat Fitness. Due to this I had to cancel the card number that Sweat had on file. In the mean time the Sweat location on [redacted]. closed without ANY notification at all. They claim they sent letters and emails notifying members of their new location and that they would be moving by a certain date. However, I've spoke to multiple members of Sweat and NOT ONE of us can confirm the "notifications" they claim they sent. When signing up for Sweat they did not ask for an email address to send information to, however they then sent out these important notifications via email. I am now dealing with [redacted] and [redacted] because of the FAILURE of Sweat, now known [redacted] Fitness, to properly bill my account. About 8-10 months went by with no charges from sweat fitness whatsoever on my account (approximately June 2013-March 2014) in March of this year is when I first heard from [redacted], telling me that I owe a monthly payment for March 2014, along with a service charge and a lateness fee, totaling $64. I received the same letter a month later, but with two months worth of fees, now totaling $108.50. [redacted] is also contacting me, however they claim I owe $109.95. The outcome of this situation, all in all, is a HUGE headache and adds on nothing but stress to MY everyday life. This is the prime example of how a "business' should NOT be operated. The employees at [redacted] Fitness strongly fail to provide any respect, understanding, and customer service qualities to gym members!

Thank You very much for your time in reading my complaint, and hopefully something gets resolved from this matter.Desired Settlement: I understand, due to a contract, I'm not going to be refunded. I would like to stop dealing with Sweat now known as [redacted] Fitness, harassment and stubborn behavior.

Review: I joined [redacted] off of [redacted] in [redacted]) in October 2013. I was charged $35 a month that was automatically deducted from my debit account. This location was in a well kept building that included a bowling alley that was free to use with the membership. This location closed abruptly (in March 2014) and the only reason I knew this is because I went there and the gym was gone. No notice was given through mail, email, or phone sharing that the gym was closing or that my membership and debit card information was moving to a different company.

I went to another [redacted] located on [redacted]. in [redacted]) and was informed that my membership could not be used at this location because [redacted] was not a part of their [redacted] network. I have been charged $35 a month for the past four months, under the guise of "[redacted] PA". I was told that the [redacted] I belonged to was now East Falls Fitness located much further away from my original location. This location is in an abandoned school building. This location does not contain a bowling alley which was the main reason I joined [redacted]. I went to the location of East Falls Fitness and informed them that I wanted to cancel my membership. East Falls Fitness informed me that they could not cancel my membership because [redacted] manages their contracts. I contacted [redacted] and attempted to cancel my membership. [redacted] informed me I could not because I was in a contract for a year.

After being on the phone for over 40 minutes and speaking with a supervisor, the account was cancelled. The supervisor reported that she had to hear from East Falls Fitness to confirm the cancelation as [redacted] was a 3rd party and it was an East Falls Fitness contract. The same East Falls fitness I had driven to, and was told that they could not cancel my membership. During the conversation with [redacted] a refund for payment, due to the unauthorized change in contract or agreement, was requested and denied.Desired Settlement: $140.00

$35.00 per month for the months of April 2014, May 2014, June 2014, and July 2014. [redacted] closed in March 2014.
