East Valley Garage Door Service

Review: Serviceman came same day. Stated needed 1 replacement spring (not broken). Quoted $375 labor & $165 +tax for spring. I responded, high labor cost. Reduced labor to $250 with no service fee. I graded. I did not check bill carefully when I wrote him check. He charged $29 service call, $165 +$15.20 tax for 1 spring & $250 labor, total $459. He had no ladder, no light & no lubricants with him so he used my equip. Door came out of adjustment in 10 days. I checked with SB Door & Consolidated Garage Door. Most expensive spring is $72 not $165 + tax. Nissan had stated that was his cost for spring & he made no profit on that item. Subsequently had SB Door completely readjust door and currently working properly. Phoned Nissan ###-###-#### registered concern re" overcharge for spring $29 service call (which he stated, he would not charge. Also that door was so far out of adjustment that opener would not open or close. He said he would come out and readjust. I started SB Door had already corrected the problem.Desired Settlement: Return service call fee $29 & adjust spring price from $165 + tax to $72. I do not want him or is company to do any service on my property.
