Ecology Exterminating Service Corp.

Review: We had mice in the house and called this firm after reading positive posts at [redacted]. The man who answered the phone said they would make the whole house "rodent-proof from the crawlspace up to the roof" and give the guarantee for 6 months. They said the cost is $450 and said the credit card statement will show $450. They did not mention the tax, so we thought it was included. A service man called Mario came on 11/**/2015, closed several holes and placed poison behind the stove. He did not even open the crawlspace, not mentioning did not go there. He was at the house less than an hour. The credit card statement showed they charged us $489.94.

We thought, OK, let it be additional $40, but no mice. We hoped they knew what they were doing. Several days later we saw mice again. We started calling them. There was an answering machine and we left several message which were never returned. On 11/**/15 we reached a person, Susan, who said they would call us back. Nobody did. On 11/**/15 I spoke with somebody called Tony, with the same result. On 12/** I called once again and spoke with Medy. I said we would complaint with Revdex.com. After that a man returned my call. He never apologised for their awful customer service, was quite rude when I said that we will complaint, just said that somebody would come and fix the problem.

On 12/** I specially went later to work to be present myself while the work is done. I have to leave before noon and told them about it. They said the exterminator would come from 9 to 11 AM. At 11:20 I called, they said he would be there soon. The man came at 11:30, he found more holes next to the radiator, closed them put more poison behind the stove and placed 3 mouse traps, two next to radiator and one behind the fridge. He said, now all the holes are closed, just check the traps, as the mice that are now in the house will be soon caught. I asked him for additional traps, he gave me two more and explained how to put them.

Several days we were happy. We checked the traps - nothing there. Then we heard mice once again. Then all the traps were full. We put those two traps that the man left us and caught two more mice. Today I called them once again and spoke with somebody called Desire. Once again, no apologies - only "[redacted]".Desired Settlement: We want either mouse proofing or refund.
