which [redacted] did confirm when she went back to your home to measure after you were having issues with the gaps which is what they recommend for an inside mount roman shade(1/2" overall gap).As mentioned before [redacted] and I both had several suggestions to alleviate your concerns.1. Have the installer mount the shades further back in the opening so less light leaks down the sides.2. Install trim to dim down the sides which will cover the gaps at the price [redacted] quoted you. It sounds like your window openings are not square and this will cover those irregularities as well.3. Add drapery panels to the sides to cover the gaps. We cannot refund your money as explained before as we described the product to you and you approved the product to be ordered as inside mount after [redacted] told you there would be gaps unless you mount it as outside mount. The shades were made the correct size which was confirmed. We will be happy to work with you to minimize the gaps and light with any of the options listed above. Neither we nor the manufacturer recommend installing a shade that would rub down the sides of the wall. That will damage the shade and possibly even the wall be scratching it. As [redacted] mentioned before if you would like that option we cannot remake it for free and any damage to the shade or wall because we didn't recommend it would not be our responsibility.
