Review: I previously was under a great deal of stress which was making me sick, it involved job loss, potential and eventual home loss, family dissolution and an attempt to health insurance after the previous one was no longer active. Awaiting coverage, which eventually did come, yet was backdated.
I was evicted from my home, got sick and had to go to the emergency room at [redacted] Hospital, Xrays were taken and they stated I had got a stomach virus.
Later this charge came up, yet the insurance was still pending at the time, but the condition was there and has been covered. The account went to collections with another agency and currently looking to see about resolution to be beneficial for both groups.Desired Settlement: Bill Adjustment, Explanation of Charges, Removal from Credit and Mediation

Review: I was contacted by this company stating I owed a student loan debt.
I have been contacted in the past by other collection agencies and each time I have disputed the debt.
Just like every other time I disputed the debt, NCO has failed to provide proof of the debt, yet they continue to report the bogus debt on my credit report.
I disputed the debt and requested validation via fax on 3/18/2014 and again on 3/26/2014. They have failed to even reply to the request.Desired Settlement: Remove the bogus debt from my credit reports.
Contact the Department of Education and advise they remove the debt from their records.
Issue check for $3000.00 for the 3 violations of the fair debt act they commited by attempting to contact me via phone after receiving a Cease and Desist letter.

Review: I was calling in to try to settle a defaulted education loan. I have been trying to get to the right department all day. One of your representatives felt the need to ask me to google another departments number in a rude manner. It would be easier to be able to settle my debt if I didn't have to run around trying to find the right department to speak to then getting no assistance from a representative, not even offering help as how to obtain the proper department. If you want to get paid maybe you should work o your customer service you pride yourself on. By helping your customers you might gain people who actually want to pay back what they owe. I just need to know where the education department is so I can pay my loan.Desired Settlement: phone number of department

Review: Recently I moved from [redacted], TN to [redacted], KS. During this time my medical provider had been sending my two bills at my old address and for some reason we did not receive it. Finally I believe the account was handed over to NCO collection agency. I don't recall this company ever tried contacting me. Instead they just reported my accounts to credit agencies. Now that I ran my yearly credit report and found the two incidents on my report - I immediately called the service provider and explained them my case and ALSO PAID FULL OUTSRANDING BALANCE ($330 ANS $75).
My complained is NCO did not do good job in contacting us first to collect the bills, instead just reported to credit reporting agency and closed the case.
Laziness on their part is now reflected in my credit report and lowered my credit score.Desired Settlement: Since I have already PAID IN FULL directly to the medical provider, I would like them to confirm this and then contact [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] and remove the incorrect information from my history.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: NCO have not taken care of the full issue. Out of the two records, one record is taken care while the other account is still showing incorrectly under my credit report. They need to remove the 2nd account as well.
Summary: I moved from TN to KS, the service provided kept sending the two bills to my old address. Finally the 2 bills were handed over to NCO. NCO did not do a good job contacting me - instead submitted the records to credit agencies and closed the account - this is reflecting negative on my credit record.
Note: Since I have checked my credit report, I contacted the service provider and paid the two bills 100% Regards,[redacted]

Review: On 02/07/2014, I received a collection letter from NCO Financial Systems, Inc., related the disputed wrong charge from [redacted] Medical Center. I called NCO ###-###-#### a few times in the following week, no one answered the calls. So, on 02/17/2014, I sent NCO a letter explained in details on [redacted] Medical Center's charge is invalid (please see Revdex.com complaint Case ID: [redacted]).On 03/21/2014, I received NCO's 2nd collection letter on that. Which mentioned received my letter as "your inquiry" (I sent registered letter), and without giving any information on what their action after received my dispute letter. My letter is not an "inquiry", it is a dispute and asked NCO to take action to talk to [redacted] Medical Center and stop the collecting.I called NCO on 03/24/2014 at 2:30PM and still no one answered the phone, so I left a voice. Up to today, NCO still does not contact me yet.NCO is not a responsible collection agent. At least, it should reasonably respond my dispute, and my letter and my calls are just ended at their end quietly.NCO should at least investigate on whether the collection is valid or not before doing collection. NCO ignored my dispute through letter and calls.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
If possible, I'd like Revdex.com to help to stop NCO to further bother me and let them know their legal right. I can share my communications with NCO with Revdex.com if Revdex.com needs that. Thanks lots.

Review: Co. sending harrassing letters and calling my place of employment on behalf of [redacted] for alledged damages.
[redacted] claims I caused approximtly $1450 damages to a car I rented for 12 days back in June-July 2013. I have denied these excessive charges during numerous phone calls continuesly and they have failed to provide any evidence except a grainy black & white picture of a car door with alledge key marks. It could be any door. So now NCO has stepped in and are continuing the harrassment sending letters and calling my work of employment where I'm not allowed to receive such calls. They have in no way provided any validation for these charges. They have threaten me with lawsuits, garnegements etc.Desired Settlement: I want these harrasing phone calls, letters and pursuit of these bogas charges to stop.

Review: NCO Financial Syste** has been attempting to collect a debt that was paid to the original creditor within 60 days of billing on March 8, 2013. They have called my husband and sent us repeated letters attempting to collect the money. I have contacted the original creditor and they show no outstanding debts and I also have a record of the original payment. I called NCO on 1/2/2014 to get the matter cleared up and they said they would only talk to my husband, not me. I told the representative that this was an illegitimate debt and that we would not be paying it or wasting any more of our time on it. He hung up on me. This company is engaging in illegal and unethical practices.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to stop contacting myself and my husband and to remove our names from their database.

Review: This company has been calling me asking for information about a step-sister I haven't seen or heard from in 10 yrs. I explained this to them and told them to stop calling me, but it is obvious to me they do not intend to comply. It is also obvious to me, they are shaking my step-sister's family tree and trying to find anyone who knows where she is. This is highly unethical and I also believe it may be illegal.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop contacting me.

Review: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Review: I have debt that was charged off in 2012. I was not able to pay due to unemployment. However, since the end 2013 and the beginning of 2014, I have been trying to contact [redacted] the original creditor as well as NCO financial the collection agency to make a settlement of this debt. They have not worked with my on this issue as of today. Instead of making a settlement, they added excessive cost and fees the amount of the debt by $2000-4,000 dollars and told me that they would make an agreement for me to pay the original debt in full and call that a settlement. I find it hard to believe I have $2,000-4,000 worth of interest for this account since 2012. They have taken over $1,200 from my taxes this year alone and I still have not seen where that amount was applied to this account.
I started paying them what I could toward the beginning of the year and then I lost my debt card in which the automatic payment were coming from and the payments stops. So, I have tried to contacting both companies about setting up an allotment for this debt. [redacted] said I would have to go through NCO financial. An NCO financial representative gave me a bank account and routing number to start the allotment. I told him I need something in writing stating that is the correct bank account number and routing and that the money received will be used for the purpose of paying my debt. I told him as far as I know this money could be going into his account. He said he could not give me anything in writing. Then I find out today, that after I called about the setting up the allotment they had arranged to have my wages garnished. I have tried to contact NCO financial with numerous attempts to try to settle this account, instead of working with me, they prefer to continued to try to garnish my wages and take my taxes.
I am also complaining because I have asked NCO financial numerous times to send something in writing stating how much I owe and a breakdown of what they are charging me, as well as interest they are apply, ect. I have not received anything showing this information. I believe the company is tacking on excess and unauthorized costs and fees onto [redacted] customer’s accounts and that is why they are not sending this statement break down.Desired Settlement: 1. I would definitely like to have an explanation of charges in writing from them to understand what exactly I owe, with a breakdown of charges and interest, ect.
2. I would like to have something in writing stating my options for a settlement and the amount that would be accepted and/or allotment information.
3. I desire for this company only communicate with me through mail or email from this day on, because they tell me things by phone and never put them in writing. I feel like I am getting the run around via telephone conversations. I have been trying to work with them for about a year and nothing has been resolved as far as a settlement or allotment or anything.
4. I am trying to work with [redacted] or NCO Financial, but they just want to garnish my pay and taxes. It is obvious I have been trying to pay this debt off, I have been calling them, emailing and faxing them for about a year. I just want to get this issue resolved. but I cannot do that when the original creditor, [redacted] will not take a settlement and refers me to NCO financial who will add addition excessive cost and fees, wants to make an agreement for me to pay the original amount in full and call it a settlement, and will not give me anything in writing.

November 21, 2014Dear [redacted]:I acknowledge receipt of your October 24, 2014 complaint regarding the abovereferenced accounts. Please be advised Transworld Systems, Inc. (TSI) account notes do not substantiate [redacted]’s allegations of misconduct. According to TSI’s account notes, TSI began servicing [redacted]’s accounts on August 29, 2013. On September 2, 2013, TSI mailed [redacted] an initial notice relating to these accounts. TSI placed several calls to [redacted] in a good faith effort to collect on the accounts, but was unable to make contact with [redacted] until January 22, 2014.On January 22, 2014, TSI spoke with [redacted] regarding these accounts. Account records reflect that settlement discussion was held. Based on TSI’s client's guidelines, a TSI representative advised [redacted] of the settlement available on her accounts; however, a settlement arrangement was not reached. On February 28, 2014, a Treasury Offset Program payment was received on the accounts.TSI records reflect that further communications were held relating to a possible settlement on these accounts; however, a settlement was not reached. On April 28, 2014, [redacted] indicated to TSI that she was no longer interested in settling the accounts. [redacted] agreed to enter into a $100 monthly payment plan. [redacted]’s payments were set up to be processed on the 28th of each month. A payment for $100 was processed on 4/28/2014, 5/28/2014, 6/28/2014 & 7/28/2014. On August 28, 2014, TSI was unable to process [redacted]’s payment, since the payment was declined by the credit card company, TSI attempted to reach [redacted] relating to her payment; however, the number on file was disconnected. TSI attempted to process [redacted]’s September payment, but this payment was also declined by the credit card company. On October 3, 2014, TSI received a call from [redacted]. TSI updated the account with a new telephone number. [redacted] informed TSI that she lost her credit card, which caused her payments to be denied. On October 6, 2014, TSI received a call from [redacted] indicating that she wanted to set up an allotment to pay these accounts. During this call, [redacted] requested TSI's bank account information be sent to her in writing. The representative handling the call advised [redacted] that he could provide her with the account information for TSI, but that he did not have information in writing. The representative asked [redacted] to contact his supervisor so that she could assist her with her request for written information on TSI's bank account number. TSI's records do not reflect that the TSI supervisor received a call from [redacted] regarding this account. On October 24, 2014, TSI received this inquiry. Please note that [redacted]’s accounts may be subject to a Treasury Offset Program (TOP), which is administered by the Department of Treasury, to collect delinquent debts owed to federal agencies and states, in accordance with 26 U.S.C. § 6402(d), 31 U.S.C. § 3720A, and other applicable laws. TSI has no involvement with this program. Also, [redacted]’s accounts may be subject to an Administrative Wage Garnishment (AWG); however, at this time, the AWG process has not been implemented for [redacted]’s accounts.Further, in connection with [redacted]’s request to set up allotment payments to these accounts, please note that in our experience, some consumers have been unable to successfully set up allotments because the consumer's account number is not provided when the payment is received. This may cause issues locating the appropriate account and applying the payment to the proper account. We recommend that [redacted] make payments via mail, including her account numbers on her payment, to the following address: Transworld Systems Inc., PO Box 15110, Wilmington, DE 19850.Please note that due to security concerns, I am unable to provide the bank account information in writing; however, [redacted] may contact Loren V[redacted] at [redacted] to obtain assistance with this request. Mr. V[redacted] may assist [redacted] in setting a minimum “test” payment and providing her with a payment history so that we can ensure that her payments are being properly applied to her accounts.TSI's account notes do not reflect that [redacted] previously requested validation materials or a payment history regarding these accounts. Enclosed for your review is validation information and a payment history for [redacted]’s accounts. Given [redacted]’s request, her accounts have been marked to prevent further calls. Please be advised that the account balance may be periodically increased due to the addition of accrued interest or other charges as provided in the agreement with the original creditor or as otherwise provided by state law.Federal and state law prohibit certain methods of debt collection, and require that we treat you fairly. I am rejecting this response because: I never said I did not want to make a settlement. This company does not want to make a settlement. If I did not want to settle, then why am I still trying to ask for a settlement as a resolution to this complaint. The problem is not that I dont want make a settlement, it is that "TSI" does not want make a settlement with me. This company does not want to settle because they are making too much money from this. They are adding additional fees everyday to this account."TS" said, in the letter that I may be subject to a Treasury Offset. They have already done this with my taxes. I have proof! They also said that I am subject to Administrative Wage Garnishment (AWG). They have already done this to me too for 2 years now, in 2013 and 2014. I have proof!Further more, who in this day and time would send money by allotment to a bank account and routing number without having something in writting?"TSI" said they were unable to contact me. I contacted them SERVERAL TIMES on my own in the past. I have even been contacting the orginal debtor about a settlement. When I could not reach a setttlement with "TSI" I faxed and called the orginal company to do a settlement, with no response. Regardless, I am contacting you now and I am requesting a settlement. WHAT RESOLUTION I AM SEEKING:I WANT TO SETTLE THIS ACCOUNT.

Review: I made 9 consecutive payments for a Student Loan Rehabilitation Agreement (for federally guaranteed student loans). NCO claims I cannot complete the Rehabilitation Process, because I filed for bankruptcy. I found a section of the Higher Education Act that addresses Loan Rehabilitation. I met the requirements of this statute for my loans to be rehabilitated by making 9 consecutive, timely monthly payments of an agreed-upon amount. I also found a statute that prohibits discrimination by companies offering federally guaranteed student loans on the basis of a borrower filing for bankruptcy (11 USC 525).Desired Settlement: I want my loan declared rehabilitated and offered to an eligible lender.

Review: I have been repeatedly contacted by NCO Financial almost every day for maybe 6 months. When I spoke to a representative on the telephone, they wanted my personal information, such as my date of birth (which I did not provide) before they would tell me what debt the call was in regards to. I told them I would not provide them with the information and to please send me something in writing. The woman I spoke to from NCO said they had already tried to contact me via written mail and they wouldn't send anything else. She also said she would make a note that we had spoken. I asked that the company not call me again and the call ended. NCO continues to call me at least every other day or so. The number on my caller ID is ###-###-####. I hope you can help me get these calls to stop and at least have them send me something in writing if there is in fact a debt to be paid. I also filed a complaint with the Revdex.com that deals with the New Jersey area because there was an address listed for NCO Financial there as well. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like NCO to stop contacting me by telephone and send me a written explanation of any debt that my be due. Also, they should refrain from asking the people they call for personal information over the telephone and stop refusing to give an explanation of debt over the telephone or in writing to the so-called debtor.

I am rejecting this response because: If they collected money from my credit card to pay off the bill and I got all this off there web site they must have all the infro to know who they are collecting for. I am not going to give them my SSN online. this is just a way to prelong this whole process. Going on online this company has a long list of complaints and history of bad pratices. I am now going to file a complaint with my credit card company to recoup the charge.

Review: I received what I'm assuming to be a collection letter. The letter itself is hard to read and doesn't clearly explain the charges that I am being sent the letter for. It does state I owe $208.22 and the listed creditor is "[redacted]", gives me no address or phone number to call. In the body of the letter there is a website to go to, which I did (www.ncofinancial.com), and it also provides a registration code. I clearly entered the code provided to me but failed to get registered. My code was "[redacted]". The letter also states that if I "request" in writing 30 days after receiving the notice that the office (of nco financial) would obtain verification or a copy of a judgment and mail me a copy. I wanted to go ahead and take care of the debt if it really was mine to take care of however it is not possible. I have to write a request to them. Furthermore I could not go to their online site to make a payment there. It seems to me that if I have a debt that they are trying to collect, the process should be more streamline and user friendly to receive more money from the people that are receiving these notices.Desired Settlement: Would like to see an explanation of charges and to provide me a better way to take care of the debt for example being able to provide my debit card on a payment stub like other places.

Review: I had 2 derogatory accounts on my credit report that I disputed and the company agreed to take them off, but they are still on my report.
I had 2 Derogatory Accounts on my credit report that I noticed on my credit report. So I investigated and got the information on these 2 accounts. So I called the collection company and received all the details and then sent them a letter disputing the accounts and explaining why. So after some time I received 2 letters from this company informing me that the 2 account had been placed in a status to prevent further collection activity by NCO. They also said in addition, please be advised that we have contacted the credit bureaus, with which they do business, with their request to delete their listing of accounts [redacted] and [redacted] from there credit profile for the social security number they have listed in their records. It then goes on to say that NCO Financial Systems, Inc. cannot effect or change to how any other company may have listed the above accounts on my credit profile. It then goes on to to explain if I felt like I was treated unfairly then I could file a complaint by visiting a website, by phone, or by written mail. Here is the thing I am very satisfied with the way they handled things. When I wrote them disputing this matter, they took care of the problem in a very timely manner. They had no problem removing it because I proved it was not me. The only problem I have is when I got my credit report for June 4th thru July 4th, the accounts were still on my credit report as derogatory. Now that may be because they sent out the letters on June 21, 2013. I basically just want to make sure they are removed. I have enough debt that I am still trying to deal with it. So here is all the original information. The original bill creditor was [redacted] with the Account No.: [redacted] and the Reference No.: [redacted] and the second original bill creditor also came from [redacted] with the Account No.: [redacted] and the Reference No.: [redacted]. One of the bills amount was $724.00 and the other bill was $719.00. This NCO Financial Systems, Inc. is located out of [redacted]. They also give a contact phone number ###-###-####, with Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm ET. I would just like for you to remove this from my credit report ASAP please. I know your busy and have a lot of cases. I am just trying to clean up my credit report, which is hard to do. It is like as soon as I get 1 thing taken care of, another one pops up. Thank you very much for your time, consideration, and cooperation.
Sincerely,
[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would just like this removed from my credit report as I was told would happen. I also still have both letters from this company saying this matter was resolved and they would contact whomever to have it removed from my credit report. I am just trying to clean my report and pay what is owed and what is a mistake. Thanks for your patience.
Sincerely,

Review: I began trying to purchase a home in March of 2013. They pulled my credit and noticed I had a judgment on my credit with [redacted] ([redacted]). When I called the courthouse they said the account is with NCO now and I would have to take care of the account with them. I then called and began speaking with [redacted] with NCO and we agreed upon settling the account for $1400.00. He said they would send me an original release of judgment. They faxed me a settlement letter that same day but since then I have not been able to get a hold of anyone who can help me. I have called a number of times and just keep getting transferred. No one knows what I am talking about and they also do not return my calls. I have had the same luck with [redacted]. On a number of occasions I have spoken to different people who can not help me. I called [redacted]’s legal department and spoke to [redacted] (direct # ###-###-####) on the 20th of June at 12:20pm and then Stacy on the 11th of July and they basically keep telling me to wait until I receive something in the mail.
