At El Beso we take all customer complaints and feedback extremely seriously. Our management team is aware of the customer complaint that was submitted to the Revdex.com and has already made every effort to address the issue.
Unfortunately, we were not able to verify the transaction receipts in question. It is possible that the server made a mistake while dividing the total bill into separate checks, and at this time, we do not believe that the alleged overcharge was in any way intentional nor an attempt to defraud our customers.
As this is the first time we have received a complaint of this nature, we do not have a company policy that dictates whether or not the full price of the meal should be refunded. But, in good faith, we refunded the full amount that the customers were allegedly overcharged. Additionally, as a gesture of goodwill, we sent the customer a $20 gift card redeemable at their convenience at any of our restaurant locations.
