We received your message regarding the 8 pc cut up chicken you purchased. Unfortunately, with a company this size as in most poultry plants the chickens are processed, cut into pieces and separated into bins. After the chickens...

are cut they are then separated to be assorted into packages. Some are sorted for chill pack breast, some for chill pack legs and others into chill pack cut ups. To keep one chicken as a whole to pack into parts in one
package unfortunately is not possible. It is an unfortunate  mistake that your package had two very uneven breast.  The staff at Empire is instructed when packaging product to try to make sure  each piece is close in size. This was an oversight on our part.
Our apologies. We will forward a coupon to you for this mistake.  In the future, please keep in mind though when buying the 8 pc cut up that they are from different size chickens.

Review: I HAVE CALLED THIS COMPANY TWICE AND HAVE BEEN IGNORED. I HAVE E-MAILED THIS COMPANY TWICE AND HAVE BEEN IGNORED. I DON'T TAKE WELL TO BEING IGNORED, ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M BEING CHARGED THE KIND OF MONEY THAT THESE THIEVES CHARGE FOR THEIR PRODUCT. WHEN I BUY A "CUT-UP CHICKEN", I SHOULD BE GETTING EIGHT (8) PIECES FROM THE SAME CHICKEN. CLEARLY, I AM NOT WHEN ONE BREAST HALF IS FOUR TIMES LARGER THAN THE OTHER BREAST HALF. THIS TELLS ME THEY ARE JUST PUTTING A TON OF PIECES TOGETHER IN A CONTAINER BEFORE THEY'RE PACKAGING IT UP FOR RETAIL SALE. WHO KNOWS WHAT I AM GETTING!!Desired Settlement: I EXPECT THEM TO HAVE THE DECENCY AND COURTESY TO HAVE CALLED ME AS SOON AS THEY GOT MY VERY FIRST E-MAIL IN ORDER TO EXPLAIN THIS SITUATION. I ALSO EXPECT THEM TO SEND ME REPLACEMENT COUPONS WHEN THE STORE HAS THE GALL TO CHARGE $4.00/POUND FOR THIS.
