Empire Tree Service

Review: I was solicited at my door with a business card. The name of the company on the card stated it was timberland tree service & landscaping. This company appears to have several names or name changes in the past, aka. empire tree service, tree experts, An agreed to price was confirmed and several trees were cut down. The company cut these trees down along with knocking over my fence and destroying smaller trees in the process of cutting some of the trees. They also left a branch that is dangling from one of the trees, posing a dangerous condition.Desired Settlement: The fence needs to be replaced along with the trees that were destroyed. The limb must be removed to prevent injury.

Review: Tree trimming and removal of all brush and debri was never completed as agreed upon by both parties. Full payment was made with two checks and both were cashed! Tried contacting by phone but no response! Desired Settlement: B

Review: Anthony Shortridge came to my house looking for work. Cutting down some trees and disposing of them. He also agreed to build a retaining wall. He gave me a price and said it would take a couple of days. This was Dec 2015 before Christmas, it is now Mar 8 2016. He cut the trees and left a mess that I had to get somebody else to get rid of. There is still a lot of wood here. No retaining wall was ever started. He gave me excuse after excuse. He will not return my phone calls. He took 1400.00 for the wall (he said to buy supplies) and he stole it from me. Plain and simple. He has not even called me once to tell me anything.

I have seen online where he has done this to other people. It is sad that a Thief like this does not get arrested. It is the same as breaking into your house and taking money. No different.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. He did not earn that money in any way shape or form. A neighbor down the street has the same problem with him. He is dishonest.

Review: On6-11-2013-Mr.David Shortridge cut some trees on my property cutting one on my fence tearing it down-tore my fish pond apart killing 13 koi fish breaking all my fixtures . He ask me not to turn it in on his insurance said it would cost him a 1000.00 dollars & they would cancel his insurance so trying to do him a good turn I agreed -he sign a note saying he would be back on 6-13-2013 never came instead he informed me he had hired a fence company-[redacted] Fencing -[redacted]--###-###-####-[redacted]-0wner-She came 6-18-2013-said she could not put up fence until tree was removed-On 6-23-2013-I called David told him I needed to get my fence back because I have 4 dogs and a bear was reported close to my property-was going to call his insurance he got very angry hung up on me I called his insurance co. and reported the claim the next day the insurance co. called me back and told me David told them he did not cut the tree it was already down when he came which is an out and out lie. I have at least eight witnesses that will swear that is a lie.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund to replace my fence all my fixtures in my pond the full amount for the price of 13 koi fish he killed-all funds I have to pay out to mend my fence-2 very old iron beds that was broken. everything he tore up.
