Mr. [redacted] is concerned EP Auto & Tire damaged a brake line during the course of recent unrelated repairs. Due to normal wear (rust) on brake line in question, EP Auto & Tire agreed with Mr. [redacted] to split the cost of repairing the brake line...

(and other necessary related items to the brake line repair such as replace left front brake caliper in order to bleed brakes). Mr. [redacted] accepted the offer from EP Auto & Tire to participate in the cost of brake line repair (50%), on 10/29/15 with Darrell [redacted] President, EP Auto & Tire. Mr. [redacted] will contact EP Auto & Tire service manager at his convenience to schedule the brake line repair.

We have accepted the offer for 50% cost of repair, but I am not satisfied that they are not accepting some responsibility for the brake line damage. They should've notified me immediately and before I left the shop of the fluid leak. I could've been seriously hurt and then they would've been responsible for more then just a brake line repair. The original estimate is for $565.11. I will split that cost.
