While Epicor certainly regrets any inconvenience caused to Mr***, the company he apparently works for, *** did respond with interest to an Epicor marketing campaign in FY13/In response,
Epicor followed up as requested although a business relationship has not to date been establishedOur records do not reflect a request from Mr*** to place he or *** on Epicor's do not call list until October of this year when we did soEpicor does maintain and regularly updates its do not call lists on a regular basisWe choose not to respond to Mr*** other rather colorful characterizations of Epicor other than to disagree

I spoke with an Epicor representative over the phone who told me that Epicor sells/provides its lists to external software distributors/reps who sell their productsWhilst I may have been placed on an internal do not call list at corporate- the lists they they have distributed to their various dealers and agents will not be updated(Or so I have been told)
I would hope that they will at least make the effort to ensure their distribution network also knows not to call meIf the procedures are now in place to ensure I will no longer receive solicitation from Epicor Software or its partners I am more than happy to consider this issue resolved
I will mention, colourful language- Blocking caller ID strings or sending invalid caller ID data is not only illegal it IS a dirty boiler room practiceIf you are curious why I think so little of your company and its sales partners, that would be a good hint to place proper caller ID data on your outbound cold calls and train your agents to collect do not call dataProvided that data is shared with any dealers or agents who may have obtained older contact lists
If your dealers/agents are playing the funny numbers game with caller ID then you may have a training issue that requires resolution
