I am rejecting this response because: The owner of [redacted]’s car wash is lying with his response. Firstof all, as of the Gold package I got it has (full service wash, triple polish, sealer wax, tire dressing, wheels, rims, and fragrance) theyactually do Polish, Tire dressing, Wheels, and Rims, and I attached picture to support my claim. I paid $40 eventhough the Gold package only cost $27.95. They charged me extra $12.05 for whoknows what. Second, I did not ask the owner to use toothbrush to clean thespotlights, he is the one that said sarcastically “do you want me to clean itwith a toothbrush?” after I told him that the spotlights aren’t clean. I alsotold them before I payed to clean the mold on the seat, and when I showed [redacted] the mold, hesaid “we don’t clean mold.” Third, the soft top was almost untouched and he isalso lying about that, it seems like they only sprayed water on it. I asked himhow did they cleaned the car he told me that they used special chemicals toclean it, when I asked him what kind of chemicals he simply said “soap andwater”!!! After I took my car back I cleaned it myself and the dirt/mud came ofeasily and looked much better. I attached some picture of the mold and dirt foryou to see.Because of them lying, I would like to refund all my money if that's possible please.

In regards to your letter we were not at fault we communicated prior to the customer even paying. We do not do rims. Also the customer wanted us to take a toothbrush to clean in between his spotlights on top of the vehicle as he was told that type of service would be in a detail. He was given...

pricing, prior to the wash by a manager on detailing.Also the soft top was filthy prior to wash. It was clean as possibly after. the owner himself [redacted] took hand across and no dirt it was explained again that vehicle is stained, no dirt came off in hand.He interrupted the owner 5 times while owner trying to explain detailing and policy. witnessed by 2 employees and a customer. he was finally told to leave the premises and given half his money back for satisfaction.

I am rejecting this response because: the company’s action contradicttheir words by saying that they don’t do Rims/Tires on their first respond andafter showing proof that they DO, they tried to avoid the problem by insultingme again by saying that I’m on some kind of “medication.” Instead of admitting theirfault, they keep lying with their respond by saying that “they washed my carwhile I watched”!!! I actually dropped my car and told them that I would pickit up later when they are done, so I was NOT there while they washed my car. Whyjust keep repeating themselves talking about the soft top? even though I statedthat there was MOLD on the seats untouched, and the price that they gave me wasdifferent than the actual price. And why charge me extra for rims and tires ifthey don’t offer that? According to their first respond. I can’t keep wastingmy time arguing with nonsense, lying, and disrespectful people like them. Inconclusion, stay away from this car wash, I do NOT recommend this company atall. They have the worst work and customer service I’ve experienced in my entirelife. Good luck

Review: Eric's Car wash provided inferior service on my wehicle. They did not stand by their guarantee to make it right as promised.

On January 23,2013 I brought a van in to Erics Car Wash that was in need of a lot of detailing. I am an administrator to an estate, and this was a van that was full of sand and excessive dog hair. I had an appointment at 10:00 am that morning. I brought the van in and [redacted] the owner took a look at it and said it would cost $150 to detail the interior of this van and that it would take 4 hours. He told me and I quote "We will be able to get 98% of this dog hair and make this van look near new." I gave him the keys and he said they would call me when the job was completed. They called me in 3 1/2 hours and said that they were done. When I arrived they were still detailing it, so I waited. When they said they were done, they asked me to take a look inside and check out thier job. The workers told me that it was still excessively wet and that I should leave the windows down for 24 hours. It was threatening rain so they did NOT wash the outside of the car or detail the tires either. They also said if there was anything else wrong or it did not look good enough to bring it back in the following day. They were in a hurry to close because of the imnpending weather. The next day when I went out to inspect the car I could still see quite a bit of dog hair and dirt because the carpeting had dried some. The car had dirt on the side of the seats and in the cup holders, and their was still a lot of dog hair left in the van. 98% of it was not gone as [redacted] had said it would be. This was one of the worst detailing jobs I had seen!!! I called Erics car wash and they were closed due to weather! I left a message on their machine because I was leaving town, and leaving this vehicle to be parked at the residence in CA until the Probate said it could be sold. Itold [redacted] this. I told them that I would not be back until March to handle the sale of this vehicleand it would be parked and not even driven until then. I expected him to stand by his word since the service he offered was not up to par. I called him back several times on and off and could never get in touch with him, just the his employees. Finally on March 26, 2013 I actually got to talk to him. I called and his employee answered the phone. I reminded her of who I was, and she started talking to me telling me there was nothing they could do to help me, I could hear Him talking in the back ground getting very irritated and upset. he took the phone from her and got on and started yelling in to the phone telling me I was crazy to be calling him 2 months later. He completely lost his temper and souldnt even let me speak!!! I have never been treated this way by anyone especially in the service industry. Finally he kept yelling the same thing in the phone and told me I was crazy and hung up!!! I explained to him and his employees before this that I do not live in CA. That this car was to be parked until I had court order to sell this car. I was trying to get this ready to sell. ERICs Car Wash offered inferior service. Bottom line the car was still dirty, and he refused to stand by his guarantee. I tried in good faith to get the van back into his shop before I left town, but they were closed!!! That van was parked and locked for 2 months, never touched and I wanted them to finsish the job they started. $150 mis quite a bit of money for a car detailing. And for that money it should be right. I expected him to be honest and act humane, not screaming and yelling like a mad man! Where is his intergrity in this matter!!! I paid by credit card. I even offered to send him pictures!!! I will never go there again and will never recommend this place to anyone!!!Desired Settlement: I feel that they deserve something for the time they put in. They did clean the van some. but the job was terrible. I want a partial refund. I believe that is fair.

I just received a letter from you regarding a complaint from [redacted]. First of all I want to let you know I disagree with what has been stated. We did a detail on the car on January 22, 2013 in which at the time the customer stated she was very happy with the job and she did not even expect it to come that clean. She did arrive prior to the completion of the job and showed us a couple of area she wanted taken care of in which we did as she watched over our shoulder until completed. Her appointment was for an interior in which I have the sheet that states NO Tire dressing to be done. She left and paid the $150.00 and was completly satisfied . To my knowledge she did not contact the car wash until late March and stated she wanted the car re done . That is over 2 months , there is absolutly no way of knowing how much a customer has driven a car in a 2 month period. Had ther been a problem and she returned within the week we could have handled it at the time. I had no knowledge of anything then the first part of April I got a letter from the credit card company that the charge was in dispute. I contacted them and stated there is no reason for a dispute she got the work done and the amount owed was $150.00 in which she signed for in full at the time. I have managed the car wash for nearly 30 years and have NEVER had a problem like this. I am in total disagreement with this complaint. Further more the town of Corning is not very far away.

Review: I took my car "Jeep Wrangler" to [redacted]'s car wash to get it cleaned inside and out, since it's really dirty they charged me the gold package plus wheel polish, which they didn't do. Before paying $40 I stated if it *guaranteed* to be cleaned totally, especially the soft top which has dirt in it from off-roading and they said of course. I asked them to clean the mold on the seat covers and windows from the inside and they said yes. After I came to pick up my car, I saw dirt everywhere in and out. Windows not clean, mold was still there "untouched", sun visors were dirty, cup holders were very dirty which I also noted this to them. I asked to talk to the owner and the owner was very disrespectful to me and started cussing at me in front of his employees saying "get the F out of my business" and "if I want to clean it better I have to take it to detail or pay a higher price to clean it." When I told him to reason with me, he said that he wasn't the one that gave me the guarantee, so he didn't owe me anything! This is his business and the one who gave me the guarantee was his employee.Desired Settlement: I told him to refund me my money, and he said no, after a long talk he just gave me half of my money $20. I'm not doing this because of the other $20, I'm doing this to report the terrible service.
