Review: Step By Step Summary of Eston Auto Transaction:I made a used car purchase on 1/17/15 and the guy took advantage of us and sold us a car with major engine and transmission defects. The next day I discovered a gash in rear mounted spare tire, a missing rear wiper blade, brake light bulbs out, lighter would not charge smartphone. I immediately contacted him via phone and text that was now 1/18/15. He said he would order a tire and wiper blade, and change the bulbs, and lighter could be a fuse. Because of the weather and the fact that he did not have the title yet it took 3wks and 2 days for me to schedule to bring it to his mechanic. One week into the purchase the oil pressure lamp started going off intermittently on dash with a bell sound. I reported this to him and he said it's probably just the oil sensor switch. They got me the tire, the wiper blade, changed the brake lights, could not fix the charging via lighter, and the oil sensor switch did not fix the dash alert. I was advised by a mechanic that if the change of oil sensor switch does not fix that it could need an entire engine rebuild about $8k. Two days after I visit his mechanic and tell him oil lamp not fixed, he washes his hands of my oil lamp issue. Two days after that now 3.5 weeks after $3945 purchase transmission fails and I barely made it home at 10mph. He says he does not refund after customer has had car for a month. I am disabled the car was parked 90% of the time and 138 miles was put on it in the entire 3 weeks time. He refuses a refund tells me to fix Trans via 90 day warranty he included and refused a car exchange as well. The warranty company upon further research is [redacted] that has many negative reviews about them paying very little on covered components even during the warranty period. They use the vague language in the agreement to wiggle out of paying for things. My mechanic verdict is in definitely needs engine rebuild & trans cost well over $5k. Suing dealer!Desired Settlement: At this point after being treated with such disrespect by this so called business person we demand a full refund of $3945 via certified check ASAP! Or we intend to sue them in Small Claims Court Special Civil Part.
