The Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration mitigation team of Bryan, Emmanuel, and Calvin did a great job for us with a good attitude during some of the coldest temperatures of the seasonThey were efficient, neat and unintrusive

August I contacted Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration After receiving the CFFR price for work needing to be done we contracted with them to tile our master bathroom shower and floor Everything was good until after the contract had been signed and delivered to them With in days there we had some questions about the start date of the project The sales person I had worked with would not return my call Finally the person managing the restoration part of our work was able to get a start date for me The restoration crew showed up and performed their work After that it was up to the original sales person to arrange for the tile people to come He did and they finally showed up on the date arranged but were well over hours late getting here The two person team worked all day for about days We were told NOT to go into the bathroom for at least hours following their final work That request was honor for over hours but when I did go in there was a thick film covering every inch of tile work that had been done I spent several hours washing the film off only to find the tile was not even at all One grout line that centered the bathroom door started at about 1/inch and widened to almost 1/inch in the foot run of grout EVERY door facing had been cut off too high and left a minimum of 1/inch caps above the tile The shower looked as if it had been twisted There were places on the floor where one tile abutting another would be at least 1/inch higher than the one abutting it It was a disaster I contacted CFFR and let them know there were major problems with the work The original sales person came out, looked at the work and agreed He then contacted what he called his number tile person to look at it That tile person said it ALL had to be removed and replaced Arrangements were made for a demolition team to come and remove the first tiling That team made matters worse by not cutting through the sheet rock to make straight lines when hammering out the tile Instead they just hit the wall with a sledge hammer and left ragged scalloped places where the sledge hammers hit Once again I contacted CFFR and they assured me their next tile person would make everything perfect He was to arrive by AM on a given date He did not show up until after PM that evening He was the person who tore out the shower pan, leaving it in a pile in our front yard He was to return by AM the next morning He did not arrive then nor at any time that day My husband spoke with him late afternoon of that day and told him to be here by AM the next morning or do not come at all The next morning the tile guy called right at AM and told me his roommate had overslept and he would be at our house by AM I told him no and called the CFFR office to let them know I would not be willing to work with them anymore CFFR did make a refund of some of the money we had paid in advance but they insisted the shower drain and the elevated toilet flange would be good for another company to use so they would not refund that money Unfortunately neither of those were good To be honest, they removed the old toilet flange and put in a new one so it could be raised to allow for the change in thickness of the floor/cement board When they put in the "new" flange that could be raised, they GLUED it back down I did not try to get that money back as I had had enough of dealing with Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration I was NEVER able to make contact with the owner due to the people working under her running interference for her My attempts to contact her via e-mail were never responded to despite my request that she contact me I do believe her workers actually dumped my e-mails to her

Thanks for all the staff and contractors who made my home life live able ! From the initial estimate before the work was done to the completion of the job was excellent thanks again cape fear flooring!

We had our floors done by cape fear flooring about a month ago and the gentleman was very pleasant to work with! He was professional and did an exceptional job. We are VERY PLEASED with our new floor and it looks GREAT!!!! Would definitely recommend them.

Cape Fear responded to water damage at my home. It was lengthy process. Lisa was amazing and got my job completed in a professional manner and dealt with my insurance company.

VERY VERY DISSATISFIED WITH CAPE FEAR FLOORING!! Their communication and customer service is horrible! And to top off a project that I eventually had to hire a different company to finish, Cape Fear Flooring tried to charge me TWICE on a $3,000 service that they did manage to complete!! CHECK YOUR BILL THOROUGHLY WITH THESE GUYS!!! BETTER YET... Go somewhere else, this place is aweful!

about 4-5yrs ago we had water damage under our house. We had to vacate for about 2 weeks so that the floors could be dried & redone. Initially we had a very positive experience. Fast forward 6 months...its tax time and CFF says we owe them over $1k. We fought with them for a couple months while they threatened to take us to court. We contacted our insurance company, who agreed that we owed nothing but magically paperwork never seemed to make it to CFF. So in the end, my husband decided going to a lawyer would not be any cheaper so we agreed on a single payment of approx $600. About a year after that, our flooring started getting air pockets. We have laminate/vinyl flooring. Both floors have air pockets and the edges of the floor are lifted up so much we could stick a few fingers under it. I have tried to contact them but have never gotten a response. We dread having to deal with them again but now have this awful flooring job & is unfair for us to pay to have it done right.

I cannot thank Cape Fear Restoration's enough for their prompt service and attention to detail! I was overwhelmed by the disaster caused by the Apollo Heating & Air Unit from the attic of my client's home. My client, who is in the service, lives overseas and we were just about to show the home when we got a call from a neighbor that water was coming out from the upstairs bedroom. When I got there, water was pouring like a flood from the ceiling to the master bedroom. It also leaked below to the living room, great room and stairway. It was a major water fall and since the house had been empty, it was pouring for some time. My heating & air company came on the scene immediately and told me to call Cape Fear Restoration. I am so glad I did! The house now looks amazing! Like there had been no damage at all. Thank you so much, Jose!

August 2014 I contacted Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration. After receiving the CFFR price for work needing to be done we contracted with them to tile our master bathroom shower and floor. Everything was good until after the contract had been signed and delivered to them. With in days there we had some questions about the start date of the project. The sales person I had worked with would not return my call. Finally the person managing the restoration part of our work was able to get a start date for me. The restoration crew showed up and performed their work. After that it was up to the original sales person to arrange for the tile people to come. He did and they finally showed up on the date arranged but were well over 3 hours late getting here. The two person team worked all day for about 3.5 days. We were told NOT to go into the bathroom for at least 24 hours following their final work. That request was honor for over 48 hours but when I did go in there was a thick film covering every inch of tile work that had been done. I spent several hours washing the film off only to find the tile was not even at all. One grout line that centered the bathroom door started at about 1/8 inch and widened to almost 1/2 inch in the 5 foot run of grout. EVERY door facing had been cut off too high and left a minimum of 1/2 inch caps above the tile. The shower looked as if it had been twisted. There were places on the floor where one tile abutting another would be at least 1/8 inch higher than the one abutting it. It was a disaster. I contacted CFFR and let them know there were major problems with the work. The original sales person came out, looked at the work and agreed. He then contacted what he called his number 1 tile person to look at it. That tile person said it ALL had to be removed and replaced. Arrangements were made for a demolition team to come and remove the first tiling. That team made matters worse by not cutting through the sheet rock to make straight lines when hammering out the tile. Instead they just hit the wall with a sledge hammer and left ragged scalloped places where the sledge hammers hit. Once again I contacted CFFR and they assured me their next tile person would make everything perfect. He was to arrive by 9 AM on a given date. He did not show up until after 6 PM that evening. He was the person who tore out the shower pan, leaving it in a pile in our front yard. He was to return by 9 AM the next morning. He did not arrive then nor at any time that day. My husband spoke with him late afternoon of that day and told him to be here by 9 AM the next morning or do not come at all. The next morning the tile guy called right at 9 AM and told me his roommate had overslept and he would be at our house by 11 AM. I told him no and called the CFFR office to let them know I would not be willing to work with them anymore. CFFR did make a refund of some of the money we had paid in advance but they insisted the shower drain and the elevated toilet flange would be good for another company to use so they would not refund that money. Unfortunately neither of those were good. To be honest, they removed the old toilet flange and put in a new one so it could be raised to allow for the change in thickness of the floor/cement board. When they put in the "new" flange that could be raised, they GLUED it back down. I did not try to get that money back as I had had enough of dealing with Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration. I was NEVER able to make contact with the owner due to the people working under her running interference for her. My attempts to contact her via e-mail were never responded to despite my request that she contact me. I do believe her workers actually dumped my e-mails to her.

Very happy they got my home back to normal after my water loss so quickly. I recommend them to anyone with water damage or just in need of home repair. Ask for Lisa as your project manager.

I had a water heater accident that flooded my whole house in early July 2015 they came out put fans out humidifiers etc. SAID they were replacing ALL the duck water that the water had damaged and I have 2 witnesses to that. Come to find out they put down duck work and did not put it back up. I had to check behind them. The reason I became suspicious is because their was NO AIR blowing on my air vent located in the kitchen. So I went under the house and seen where there was duck work laying on the ground and I was not notified of this! I called the people of cape fear water damage and restoration and told them! And their response was we are not fixing it!
