European Auto Salavage

Review: European auto salvage is an [redacted] vendor. I purchased an older [redacted] 6 CD changer ($40) to replace my [redacted] CD changer that suddenly stopped reading discs. The unit was advertised as working but was DOA. On closer inspection the pin on the output cable was bent over and required to be straightened before it would even mate with the vehicle cable. How could this unit be tested as working with a badly bent pin on the cable connector? The Cd changer displayed an error code on the car deck head unit "[redacted]" (CD player malfunction). The Cd changer does not even eject the cartridge, to allow one to load a CD. Peering into the unit, a CD was jammed inside the CD transport mechanism. The seller European auto gave me two options. They could refund the purchase price or if I shipped the item back to them, they would issue a full refund? The item was clearly untested and falsely advertised as in working condition. I'm 100% sure this part was never tested.I more than willing to ship the unit back to the seller at his expense if he thought the unit was worth the additional shipping expense.They need to get their fingers rapped for clearly trying to pawn off defective items. If this isn't resolved I will escalate this to [redacted] and the seller will have some scathing feedback on this item.Desired Settlement: Full refund ($80.95 US)
