I have just received your second notice regarding the respond needed of the complaint Case: #*** filedIn my defense, since I have been in this business for almost years and never had this kind of accusations brought upon me before, I would like for all parties involved to know the details
of their misunderstanding of this situation, but before going into them, I do believe that the mother of this student was totally unaware of what she agreed to signShe did not read my material, and the grandmother of the student it seems neglected to fully explained the details of our meeting and policies to her since the mother was not with us at our registration appointmentIt was agreed that the grandmother would bring her all the written material, and that she was to return to me the signed 'Acknowledgement Form' for the policies of which she did with her signature and the grandmother's as well, the grandmother was responsible to; bring the student, have her wear the comfortable dance attire needed, and solely take care of the finances, the mother had nothing to do with this complaint. The mother of this student gave out some incorrect facts and information to your company about me and my businessThis was a class that was to be held for two months this summer only, and it was agreed that her daughter was only going to take six classes and not sevenShe also was not going to have a `Recital'; instead it was to be an "Informal Dance Presentation' for direct family members onlyOur students including her daughter were to perform a Jazz routine taught by me, and it was to be presented to parents and their immediate family members only in the dance room, on the 16th of AugustIn her daughter's case, she was to have paid for six lessons only (Mos.), the others students for eight since they would remain for the rest of the month of August. As to the dance Attire, the grandmother was asked to; only purchase Ballet slippers, wear what she already had that she could physically stretch in, i.ea black top, yoga or sweat pants, her own tennis shoes, and socksThe daughter (Student), according to the grandmother, told me that she did not like the top she currently had chosen for class after wearing it for the very first time; I think it had a logo on itI simply asked if she had one without any on itThe grandmother chose to purchase a new top, this on her own accord and not by my requestThe rest of the girls in this class were regular students from last session, and are continuing through the Fall, so they were asked to purchase and wear black spandex shorts at that timeTo reiterate, I did not ask for the grandmother to purchase all that other dance attire as the other girls needed. At partial fault I will admit, although it was out of my control because my instructor, who was to teach the remaining two classes in the style of Hip-Hop in August, was not going to be able to teach after allDisappointed as I was, I told this to the grandmother and student in person, and did so as soon as soon as they walked inAlthough this was not to affect this student at all, I texted the mother before my class was to begin so she would understand my position and the situation, again this truly did not change anything for this student whatsoever, other than her family would have been the only family to watch on this student's last dayI also mentioned that her family could come into the dance room and take as many pictures and videos of her while watching her performing this routine. To sum it up, have given this student everything promisedUpon registration with the grandmother only, the Dance Attire and Registration Fees were fully explained to her, and I also gave her two hours of my time to do so, even though she was to take only six classesIn total for the first month collected, she was asked to pay: $and she didThe $was for The Set Fees, and the July Fees were $(Four classes)The tuition for August was only $since prorated it for her (Two classes only)The student was to take classes in total, but the grandmother decided on her own to pull her granddaughter out of class on August 9k'She then decided not bring her for the 'Informal Performance Demonstration' on August leThis was not an "Official" Dance Recital as this mother so thought, since the studio does this only once a year in June with; full facial make-up, and glittery costumes, of which she never was never asked to purchaseTrue, we had a mother do a small photo shoot, but this was prior to class startingHaving related all this to you, do believe that I was falsely accused of many things and deserve an apology from this motherI run a very honest business, and am appalled that these people have tried to ruin my good reputation, especially with negative reviews on Eacebook, and dragging me through your company (Revdex.com) with my good nameHaving been falsie accused demonstrates to me, that these two people; did not bother to read or follow the policies, have jumped to conclusions of their own, and as well have been very devious towards my characterNever in my years of business has someone twisted all that they could to try to bring me down and ruin my reputationRemember that it was the student's grandmother who was solely responsible for; bringing her, and purchasing only one pair of Ballet slippers so she could attend for only those six weeks and nothing elseThis grandmother; had asked me questions, also signed the forms, yet she did not understand what she signed, so I ask them both, who was negligent, and who disappointed whom? Please read NO: on our policies regarding a demand for a refund, and note that they are not entitled to one at allI rendered this student a service of four classes, the grandmother pulled her out of the studio on August 9th which would have been her 5th class, and I was present and taught as well for that Jazz class on the leof AugustHer family and the student never showed up for her 'Performance Demonstration'I'm asking both; did you ever think that this student happened to have a partner who was left without one, and that I was minus a student in my routine as I was choreographing still with her in mind even though she wasn't there? Sincerely,
