Everdry Waterproofing of Upstate NY

To be fair they accomplished 85% of expected work.sales people were high pressure, gimmicky. Runaround and hounding to get started. Some of the workers were thugs, poor work habits. The concrete cap, entire perimeter- cracked. After much grief/ runaround, they did come back & replaced concrete, more dust and damage. Some piping not installed correctly. I've been around contractors 50 yrs, these people are terrible, from the top down.

They were fine until we had an issue with plumbing. We had drain tiles installed around the basement as we had issues with water coming up a drain when there is heavy rain. The workers put some gravel down the drain as they planned to cap & seal that drain. They decided not to do seal it but told us to buy a rubber boot to put over the pipe. This drain was next to my laundry machine. When I went to do laundry after they completed the work, water came up the drain. That has never happened before, not when I washed. I called them, they sent two different people out to look at it and then They had to send a plumber who used a camera to look at the line. Plumber verified some gravel in the line and he cleared it with camera. The manger at everdry told me, actually screamed and threatened me that if I didn’t pay the plumbing bill ( ~$350.00) he would file a lien against my house. This manager was very rude and unprofessional . I just spent $18,000 with this company to fix my basement. I would NOT recommend them.

They did the work agreed to as expected and even were able to complete the job weeks before we were scheduled. Happy to have a waterproof basement now!

Everdry did a very good job at waterproofing our basement. Our Forman Darel guided his workers to do a great job. The cleanup was good inside and sufficient outside considering the weather. Great job overall.

Excellent company. Employees are courteous, punctual, knowledgeable and hard working. Communication is fantastic. Questions and phone calls are answered almost immediately. Onsite foreman is diligent about making sure the homeowner is updated throughout the project and addresses any questions or concerns immediately. A final walk through is given at project completion to assure customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this company.

I was very satisfied with the results from their installation of a drainage system for my basement. Their team was four on my project were consistent (which I prefer) and hard working as well as working well to keep me involved and apprised of the entire project. The company has been very good in response to any inquires or requests I have had; then and now.

We had our basement waterproofed by Everdry Waterproofing and the results were exactly what we wanted! After 43 years of a wet basement the area is now dry and usable and has remained so since the completion of the job over 2 years ago! The workers were courteous and efficient and the company’s follow-thru is great. Would recommend them to anyone wanting a dry environment!

We were sold on the idea of hiring everdry because they told us that our foundation was compromised and we are risking major damage. They told us that they would dry our basement, and that we wouldn’t need our dehumidifier anymore with the *** that they were installing. They said the basement would be so dry that insects would leave because there was lack of moisture. We were ensured that we wouldn’t have a mold problem and that our belongings would be safe to store in the basement.

We paid $15,000 to have the work done and there is no change in our basement whatsoever besides a back up battery powered sump pump. There are as many if not more insects than before the work. A carpet we had stored in the basement has mold on it. The dehumidifier we were told we didn’t need, is constantly running and so is the ***. The concrete work done around the perimeter is cracked and seems dark in spots like moisture is getting close to the surface. They disconnected the sump pump pipe to install a new one and the pipe came off of the main drain and sprayed water all over the floor. They fixed it with a clamp, on a iron pipe. It’s holding for now I guess. There is water getting into the basement from the patio. We asked them if they could break up the concrete and put a barrier to stop it and we haven’t heard back. We have had to call them back repeatedly to fix problems with the job they did and every time we call we have to wait weeks or sometimes months to get t m to fix them. And Every time we have called, managers are not available, out in the field or in a meeting. I am not happy with the product especially paying $15000 for it. And I am certainly not happy with customer service because it seems like if they know you’re going to complain they’re in the field or busy in some way hoping that we won’t call back. If I pay $15000 I want to get what I was promised. If no work needed to be done in my basement then don’t sell me on it. I expect a huge change if my basement was in rough shape. If it was in as rough shape as they told me, then I should notice a difference after they work on it, and I don’t. False advertising and scare tactics were used. I’m not happy with that or the final product.

Everdry is a fantastic company. Their customer service is excellent and their employees are polite and conscientious.

Everdry is a very professional company, easy to work with and when I have an issue are very responsive to my issues. The office staff are professional and pleasant and their attention to detail is outstanding. When the crew came to my house they explained what they were going to do and made sure that I was pleased with the end result before leavong my home. I would recommend Everday to anyone.

We have been doing business with Everdry for approximately 30 years when they waterproofed our basement. Whenever we've had any kind of issue, they have always been very accommodating. Last week, on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, our sump pump began running continuously (so we unplugged it). With Thanksgiving coming up in 2 days and since we weren't going to be home on the next day (Wed), we called Everdry immediately that Tuesday afternoon. The rep was very courteous and we were able to get an appointment that very day! In approximately an hour we received a call from the technician saying he would be there within 15-20 minutes. When he arrived, he was polite, professional, and thorough and was able to fix our problem. It was actually a burned out switch. We are thankful we chose Everdry!

We have nothing but praise for the work we hired Everdry to do for us. Very neat and efficient on their work even though weather was not cooperating. A few years later, our crawl space is just as neat and dry as it was on the first day. Everdry also very responsive on any concerns and their technicians are very concerned and polite. From meeting them at a home show, the three gentleman who came to our house on two occasions, the crew who performed the work at our house and finally the staff at the office, a huge thank you everyone. was very pleasant, professional and made sure we understood each and every step of the process to be done. We even had issues that the team leader called to be sure it was handled in the best way possible. It was to take three days to complete the project from start to finish but they completed it all in about a day and half, the basement was even cleaner when they were done than before the start. Yes I would highly recommend them for doing the repairs you need done.
