Business Commits Extended Warranty fraud on the regular. Customers have been informed and have filed reports.

My name is Mike *** I have worked at this location for years. I have a list of customers who were told original part also known as dealer parts were put on there car but weren't. They lie cheat and steal from customers. They use the cheapest parts to repair your vehicle. If you dare go to this location no that you will be a victim when you leave. They call and upsell you things for your vehicle not cause you need it but due to the fact they broke it. If you're a woman or elderly stay away. If you must go to this location don't get repairs done untill you price then at another location. I have given the names to the customers that have been wronged to my knowledge to the Better Business Beuro .

We do not have a customer by that name nor do we have any customer history on him. If has has or had any work performed by us, we ask that you send us a copy of his invoice.

Thank you,
Manangement

They are a total RIP-OFF and SCAM which has now left me in huge financial debt just to get my car back!

Mr. M had a 2002 *** LS vehicle that needed extensive front-end, rack&pinion, and struts. Mr. M authorized and approved the work performed and left happy. He never contacted us regarding any material or workmanship issues. The work is still under warranty if any of the parts or work fails. We will reach out to him and see if there are any problems with the work performed and any timely issues. Mr. M is a valued customer and would like to know what problem exactly caused his dissatisfaction.
Thank you, Management

I am still very unhappy and so is my wife!
All of the cost involved, both parts and labor were ballooned! I am now facing an extremely expensive price to pay bi-weekly with two of their finance companies, while currently unemployed looking for another job. I did indeed contact Expert Auto Center the same day I finally took my car home on 2/8/2020 regarding the loose steering wheel issue that still exist, which still turns loosely while making turns, the steering wheel should have been tightened. I drove my car back to them the next day to have them inspect it again, so that’s another lie their management mentioned about me never contacting them regarding workmanship issues.
I’ve usually had my vehicle serviced at *** Complete Auto Care, located in Lansing, IL for over 10 years and they routinely give me a complete vehicle inspection checklist before and after service is done, not once have any of the technicians told me I needed extensive front-end, rack & pinion, and struts done. The purpose of me going to Expert Auto Center, Openbay referred me to them because they were in their network and I had $40 of rewards to spend. I originally came Expert Auto Center just for a wheel alignment/tighten steering wheel, so I can use the free $40 and would only have had to pay out of pocket $9…now I'm in a $6,100.00 debt! I was SCAMMED! And they are Scammers because they played a game on me, keeping my car hostage to make a quick profit. The *** trade-in value for my car is only $574, I’ve been ripped-off and overcharged for parts and labor I did not need. Furthermore, the steering wheel issue still exist along with now an oil leak that I did not have at first. I have sent my dispute to the Illinois Attorney General Office as well.

I brought in my 2006 Jeep Wrangler to this shop to get a second opinion after taking it to another shop. The 1st shop told me that my transmission was bad and this shop told me that it was the transfer case. They quoted me $2,300 but after talking with them a bit we agreed on $2,000 even. That is a lot of money but I needed my car roadworthy as soon as possible so I asked them ''do you guarantee that this is the issue and that this will fix my problem?'' and they said ''I guarantee that this will fix your problem''. So in the interest of getting my car running I agreed and they took a week with it. They call me and tell me its ready so I come pick it up and pay them (they wouldn't accept debit only cash so they drove me to bank). After testing it 20 minutes I find that the EXACT same problem is still there. They replaced the transfer case when it WASNT the issue and now they say the problem is the front differential. Which makes no sense since that should have been checked right from the start. Now, even though I have (in writing) 1 year parts and labor warranty they want me to pay them $1,000 to fix my car. They wont refund my money, they wont fix my car, and they wont even show me the broken part they replaced. It all looks like a scam and now I'm out $2,000 and my car is still broken.

on 11 Oct 2018 I took my car to the above mention repair shop to have work performed , such as a major tune up, oxygen sensor, valve cover gasket front to be engine motor mount with the expection of the work being done in a perfessional and timely manner but what I got was a night mare, oil is still leaking from the valve cover gasket, and smoking/burning on the engine, a constant check engine lite dat comes and goes, a very sputtering and ruff ride , as if the car is stall out, numerous times I have had the car car checked out at auto zone/ track auto and it always reads cylinered 1 and 4 miss firing and and when I have returned the vehicle to them (American Auto repair they constantly tell me they can find anything after my car sits for 2-3 days because they claim the have no mechanics to attend my car, this has happened on 4-5 occasions thus far with no one every attempting to correct or adjust my issues, I have had to borrow cars, hick rides back and forth to work and I should not have to , I took out one of the so called interest free financing plans with the expectations of paying it off in the 100 day payment plan but I refuse to pay for a plan when my car is yet to be repaired or fixed, the good for nothing persons in charge of this sorry A$$ hole in the wall are called Mike and one is called San Hassan, both are crooks and praying on the publics trust it has almost been a month and my car is yet to be fixed and at this point I don't trust to take my car back after 5 straight returns with nothing to show for any thing, they have nasty, rude and vulgar attitudes to the point where a person would whoop on they a$$es but I would rather file a complaint and hope that they lose their business license to practice ever again, I juz want my car repair as stated then they can go straight to ***, I spent 1500.00 and I am very very very disturbed by them not repairing my car, but they got paid, where is the justice and fair play in that?????

Took mt car to this repair shop in december to fix powersteering pump and catalyst converts from that it went to myracknpinion going out now ive paid 3000$ and ive been taking the bus and doing uber to work so 2 montgs later car is ready drive the car home and its driving worse than when I brought it home called him hw says hes busy give him a week go on vacation come a weeklater my car hasnot been touched im so overwhelmed taking bus and spending money on uber to get towork I can no longer afford now its march they still have my car and theyre saying they cant figure it out I mean obviously they didn't know what it was so now im thinking wasit the rack n pinion should I have paid 3000$ and the worst part it istill have no car making payments on something I cant use ive been patient but I need help dont know what to do
