Good Lord, Stay away from this service department.
I had a fender bender in a 2006 325i. After my insurance repaired the car at a different shop, I got a coolent level light. I took the car to this dealer. Their service department said I needed a new water pump, radiator, and radiator hose. I know this was a lie because my insurance had just replaced the same hose.
This dealer wanted $195 per item they checked. Not fixed. Just to check. I initially asked them to check the coolent issue and the AC because it wasn't getting cold before the fender bender. I wasn't going to pay $400 for them just to look at the car but I did agree to the $195 for the coolent issue because the $195 would be applied to the repair. They came back with a repair cost of $2900+ for the items mentioned above. I had the car towed from this dealer to another shop. They flushed the coolent for free and added the BMW blue coolent. I'm fine now for less than a hundred bucks.
I really like cars and motorcycles. I have a GL 450, 2 FX35, Chevy LTZ crew dually, a Harley and a Hayabusa. Because of this dealer, this is my first and last BMW.
