[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The issue was not whether or not I "fully understood" the price of the vehicle, the issue was how they what seemed to be arbitrarily, determined a [redacted] to be a "mid-sized" car thereby charging me the midsize rate? When I arrived they attempted to put me in a mid to full size old beat up [redacted] for $39.95, I was concerned and baffled when I opted to not take that car requesting something perhaps a little more reliable and decent at which time they offered me the [redacted] a significantly smaller vehicle for the same priceThe other issue was upon my return on or about 2pm in the afternoon they deducted an additional days insurance from my refund that I did not authorize, I only requested the insurance thru Monday? Legally are they authorized to do that? I do not believe soThey are correct in that I reserved and was seeking to rent a full size vehicle and was prepared to pay the $however a economy size car is what was reasonable available and I feel at that moment the price should have been adjusted to reflect soLastlyyes I did sign the paperwork, accept the refund and leave the establishment but not before requesting a contact name and number for corporate to which I was essentially told that there is not corporate office that I could call that office on tomorrow to speak with the "owner" who would be present at that location the following morning There was no additional contact information available for him and he was identified by his first name only which ultimately was not of much assistance to me in attempting to resolve this matter Regards, [redacted]

We are frequent travelers to Las Vegas and on more than one occasion have rented cars while in town. This trip was booked for over 4 months and in that time we did a fair bit of shopping around for a rental car for our stay rather than a one or two day rental as we have done in the past. We received a quote from EZ Car Rentals for 157.00 for a Hyundai Santa Fe or similar vehicle for our stay (Monday to Friday). When we arrived at the rental booth we were not given an option for insurance it was just added on they tacked on extra charges for a second driver and other taxes and fees that brought the charges up to around 375.00. At this point we not overly happy but willing to pay the extra charges just to get out of the building and get our trip started. We arrived home late last night and my wife went on line this morning to see 500.00 in total charges from EZ Car rentals. When she called to ask about additional charges the woman who answered the phone was quite rude and unwilling to answer any questions and when my wife asked to speak with someone else the woman on the phone informed her that she was the manager but sent her to customer service. Customer service could not do anything to answer any questions and could not do anything to help come to some kind of a resolution because the "manager" had noted on the account that we were not to get any kind of discount or refund. This one bad experience will not stop us from traveling to Las Vegas but it will stop us from renting a car from EZ rentals or Advantage car rentals wich is the same company.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: When I first arrived to rent a vehicle I was never told any prices accept the a day to rent and was never given the opportunity to select a vehicle Once they had collected my money they brought a car around and that was when I questioned the fact that I would like to pick my vehicle if possible I was then told to come back in the morning because they would have more to chose from Once I arrived the next day which was 11/5/2015, the young lady in the office was working with another customer and it was at that time I over heard her giving her different prices for their vehicles to rent I questioned the young lady at the front desk who act like she didn't want to discuss that with me until the customer left because she knew I had a complaint about what I was charged At that time the young lady pulled up my information from the transaction the day before 11/4/ The young lady at that time asked for my credit card and I asked her why, she indicated that she needed to add it in the system and I refused because they already charged my cards for the transaction and I presented the two receipts in front of her but she still wanted my card At that point she refused to speak with me any further and said they didn't have any other vehicles for me to switch I called to get some assistance from the lady because she became very upset that I wouldn't present my credit card to her again It was at that time the police arrived and then requested the lady show me the pricing list in which the officer told me to take a picture with my phone and go to small claims court They were charging me a flat a day mid size car price for a a day compact car that they rented to me I never asked to rent a car for one day but two days The day I returned the vehicle I was given my refund in a check and the next day which was 11/7/on a Saturday, I went into the bank only to be told there were no funds in that account to cover the check I then called back to EZ car rental and spoke with the same man who processes my rental as well as wrote the refund check He informed me to go to another teller because the teller I was dealing with was stupid and that money was in that account After speaking with the man at EZ car rental I then turned around and went back to the bank and the teller informed me that EZ car rental did a money transfer and that now the funds are there I have never been so humiliated and embarrassed in my days standing in line at the bank This Car rental is exploiting their customers and something needs to been done legally about them I do have the officer's information along with a report number Even the officer said the car they rented me is a compact car all day and not a mid size car I have called several car rental places such as enterprise, budget, and avis and was told the car they rented me is considered as a compact car I even went beyond that and called [redacted] and was told that car is a compact car This is a company that once again exploits their customers and place prices on vehicles as they see fit not based on the actual size of the vehicle I will fight this to the death of me by taking this company to court and receive my actual refund of being over charged for a compact vehicle Its not so much of the money but I want to make sure that this car rental place does not keep getting away with over charging and exploiting individuals who may not have a major credit card as part of most rental cars requirements I don't mind paying for what I want but I refuse to be taken advantage of in this manner If I was rented a compact car then charge me for a compact car and not a compact car at a mid size car rate Regards, [redacted] ***

$99.90 for 2days plus insurance of $18.95 per day, and tax of 11.5%, total $155.00. [redacted] paid $200.00 deposit. She paid $255 in cash $50.00 [redacted] Card and $50.00 Master Card. [redacted] wanted to rent for one day from the beginning but we have minimum 2-day rental. We told [redacted] how much it would cost her for 2days and we also explain to her that the deposit will be refundable. We offer her 3days special rental for $119.85 which it will come out to be $39.95 per day plus ins and tax, she does not want to get it for 3days. At that time what we had on the fleet was $49.95 per day. [redacted] read the company rules and except the cost of the rental. She was not forced to pay at that price. She knew clearly how much she was going to pay for the rental. It is not a fraud or over charged. She could refuse to not get the vehicle if was too much or if she things over charge. Our price change based on rental of days and holidays. Qur price goes from $29.95 thru $89.95 per day before insurance and taxes. Our advertisement is not false. On that day we did not have any $29.95 per day available because of memorial holiday weekend. We charge our customer what ever is on the system. We cannot create our own price. All the price of the vehicles and the size of cars are posted on the software we use. She understood clearly that the vehicle she's renting was not $29.95. It is also our policy to explain to the customer what there paying and what there getting back at the end of rental. [redacted] understood the terms and conditions made a payment and sign rental agreement. If she was not happy with the rental fees she should not have rented the car. We did not force her to rent it and it was her choice to rent the car.
