Mr*** contracted us to do his flooring projectDuring the project it was noted that the toilets would have to be set by a licensed plumberWe recommended he contact Straight line plumbing to set the toilets Straight-line Plumbing did the work, has a one year warranty and is responsible
for any issues with the toilet installationI tried to facilitate Straight-line Plumbing and Mr***’s communication and Mr*** and his wife were just demanding payment and Straight-line Plumbing stated they would gladly take care of any issues, they would just need to see a report and talk to the plumbing company that did the work. Hello Sir The work was performed by Straightline Plumbing and guaranteed for a yearCalifornia Contractors Board clearly states a one year warranty for work provided gives the homeowner the right to have the DEALER WHO PROVIDED WORK fix the issue under certain conditions( Length of time, cause of damage,etc..) For example; if you buy a new car from a Ford Dealership and you have an issue , the warranty would not cover you taking it to Mercedes Dealership and having them address issues, complete repairs and call Ford and ask them to pay you back for the work Mercedes providedWe value our customers sir and would of helped facilitate any repairs if we were notifiedI hope you can understand straightline plumbings stanceI have contacted GMI Plumbing to try and get proper report and findings and will do everything I can to get you reimbursed if they comply it was due to original installation by Straightline Plumbing. Thank you for the email! Please find the attached invoice and one of the receipts. The highlighted line on the invoice shows clearly that Factory Direct Floor charged us the fees for toilet removal and installation fee. I couldn't find the contract. But I believe one year warranty of the work done is California law and a common practice.I would appreciate your time and help!Regards

We sold wood flooring to [redacted] who is the installer for [redacted]. The flooring was installed outside of our company. When installed the humidity was not correct and the flooring started cracking. We made a claim with the vendor and we hired a third party flooring inspector that concluded the...

humidity was too low and did not meet the guidelines. This voids the warranty to the floor. Since the vendor, [redacted], is a reasonable company they offered to provide ** with a box to replace the damaged areas. ** was unhappy with the decision. So, [redacted] was going to provide him with 4 boxes, until ** started contacting social media and threatened to sue. It has now gone to the CEO of the company to find out with the next step is. Unfortunately, the warranty is through the Vendor and due to improper installation the warranty is voided and Mr. [redacted] is in the mercy of [redacted]s. The CEO of [redacted]s will be making a decision next week.
