Family Dollar

They need to stop scamming people. They are aware if this practice as follows; advertising one price on the shelf and costs more at the register. Store blames 3rd party and wont take responsibility

When I walked into the store, the cashier told me Welcome to Family Dollar and I said thank you. The clerk I take that back I am not talking to you. When I went to check out, the clerk told me she wasn't checking me out. She called the manager. I was waiting for a few minutes. The manager didn't come, so she rang me out. She wouldn't take the money from me and she told me to put the money on the counter. I put the money on the counter and she put my change on the counter. I told her co-worker what happened and he apologized. I asked for the regional and/or national office phone number and he told me he didn't have it. I searched for their national office and I called and I put in a complaint over the phone. I gave them my information to contact me. They told me they would get back to me in five days.
Two weeks ago, I came in to purchase two paper towels. There was only one of the shelf. I asked the clerk for one and he told me this same clerk was stocking them. I asked her if she could give me another paper towel and she told me no she would not open the box. I spoke to the manager*** and she told me she didn't know what was wrong with her.

I had a poor experience at the Family Dollar located at *** I stopped by this Family Dollar Store (not the one I normally go to) to purchase 3 items since I was in the area. When I was in line to check out, there was only 1 register open and there was a line with 10-12 people. I mentioned to the person in line in front of me that it was strange that only one register was open. There was a manager up at one of the registers who over heard me. She said that it was due to a shift change at the moment. I mentioned back to her that I just found it strange because this does not happen at the Family Dollar I go to. The manager asked which one I go to, and I told her. She told me I should just go shop at that store. As this exchange went on, I was now around the 2nd or 3rd person from the register. I had stayed because I just wanted my 3 items and to leave. When I was getting close to the register, the manager told the employee checking people out to not check me out. She told her I could go to the Family Dollar I usually go to or another store. I was shocked and asked her if she really was going to turn my service down? She told me yes and to just get out of my store. I just thought the customer service was terrible. I always have a good experience with the Family Dollar I normally go to, but this was just awful and disrespectful.

I was not treated well at this location. I was accused of shop lifting. I cooperated with the store workers and let them search my belongings. The police were then called, and they searched my belongings as well and confirmed I did not take anything. They then told me I was not allowed to come back to their location. I also called the corporate office to file a complaint, they told me they would contact me but never did.
