Fanny Hill Victorian Inn & Dinner Theatre Reviews (2)

[redacted] Hill Victorian Inn & Dinner Theatre cannot be trusted. Earlier this month a group of people and I went to this business to the dueling pianos show. We went to celebrate my birthday and have an enjoyable night with great music and service. What we got was the most disappointing experience we have ever had in our lives. When we got there our reservation for a table of 8 was split up so we were not all seated at the same table. It took 40 minutes to work our reservation out with the management so that we could all sit together. By this time we had missed part of the show.
Once we were seated, we had no server. All of the tables around us were getting their meals and drinks. I walked over to the hostess station and requested a server as our table had been forgotten. About 15 minutes later a server came, took our order but didn’t return. I then went to the hostess station again to let them know that we had not received our drinks. Ten minutes later the server came back to apologize and said they would buy us a round of drinks on the house and retook our order. She came back with our drinks that were “on the house” as well as the drink order that we put in. At that point we put in a food order. We never got that food and never got checked on the rest of the night. We tried to flag our waitress down but she was too busy taking care of all of the tables around us. At the end of the night I went to the bar to request our bill. The bartender said that our server would be to our table with it. She came over to our table to apologize about the food order and said she would put it in again for us but at that time we just wanted to get out of there as the show was ending. She left our table and came back with our food and our bill. She said that the food was also “on the house” due to her losing the original food order. Then she quickly left the table.
We opened the bill and realized that we were extremely overcharged. We were charged for the round of drinks that was “on the house” as well as the food order that was “on the house”. I went to try to find the waitress to explain to her that we were significantly overcharged but she was nowhere in sight. I stood at the bar waiting for someone to help me get this bill corrected. The bartender had to hunt my server down for me and by this time many of the dueling pianos guests had cleared out of the place to try to resolve the issue. When my server came I showed her that we were overcharged for items that were supposed to be on the house. She apologized, adjusted my bill to be the correct amount and I paid it. We left shocked and disappointed. What was supposed to be a night of enjoyment turned into a night of stress and hassle. I left that night knowing I would never go back again. But it gets worse.
The next morning I checked my online banking statement to find an additional unknown charge from [redacted] Hill. I called them to question why I had a charge on my account that I did not sign for. After speaking to management and being on and off of hold for more times than I can count she told me she would call me back. About 6 hours later she called me back. She said someone must have run the card again for reasons unknown. She told me that she would credit my account for this unauthorized charge.
I was mortified that they ran my card twice, once without me authorizing it. I was scared for the safety of my account and wanted answers which she couldn’t give me. Once my account was credited and corrected, I thought this was all over. But I was wrong.
5 days after the incident of being over charged, I see another random charge on my account from [redacted] Hill. I am now terrified. This company has my card number and is running my card randomly as they please. I immediately call [redacted] Hill and speak to the office manager who is extremely rude to me, yells at me and assures me that they never charged my account. This fraudulent business is charging my account and saying they do not see these charges or know where they are coming from.
I then immediately called my bank and they disputed the charge. The bank and I are now closely watching my account for any other fraudulent charges from [redacted] Hill. This business is not to be trusted. I highly advise anyone who is planning to go to [redacted] Hill for any reason to think twice before doing to. They are running operations illegally there. They are stealing money from their customers.
Do not give this dishonest establishment your business.

Review: I have a $100 gift card from [redacted] Hill that was purchased in Dec. and I just found out they have gone out of business and will not refund my $100Desired Settlement: I would like to have my $100 refunded to me seeing as they have gone out of business and I can no longer use it there.
