I purchased new carpet and new matting from Fashion Floor Carpet in Kingston, Pa which was installed on Oct. 23, 2015. After the installers finished the job in 2 1/2 hours (which I was told would take about 4-4 1/2 hours) I was vacuuming and noticed the carpet was not as soft as expected and also that there was not any old matting laying around. I contacted the store and asked if the matting under the carpet was replaced and was assured that it been. Two days later I received a call by the salesperson admitting the cushion was not replaced. I expressed my displeasure and the carpet was reinstalled, with new matting, two days later. I lost two days of being able to move into the house and a half day of work to oversee the laying of the new carpet. While wanting to address the situation with the owner, Jeff, no communication has been received. I am concerned if this problem has previously been experienced with Fashion Floor and I'm hoping to prevent it from happening to any unsuspecting customers in the future. If I was not as alert, this would not have been discovered and would have paid for product and services not delivered.
