We were so impressed with Feazel from start to finish. Anthony Arroyo gained our trust and our business from our first meeting. He was easy to contact and was quick to answer any of our questions. He walked us through the process and helped us deal with any concerns along the way. The crew was excellent. They were pleasant and professional. Besides doing a wonderful job on our roof, they did a great job keeping the area neat and cleaning up our driveway and yard when they were finished. The support staff in the office were knowledgeable and thorough when helping us to fulfill insurance paperwork necessities. We would not hesitate to recommend Feazel to our friends and neighbors and have done so already!
We chose the Feazel Roofing Company for their professional sales associate
TJ J’s presentation! We were very pleased with the crew and their unbelievably
Efficient and fast tear down and replacement of our roof. Their cleanup was meticulous down to the last staple. We highly recommend Feazel!
Feazel put my roof on the house about five years ago. After developing a small but noticeable leak in an area about the garage, I called Feazel and asked for someone to come out and look. Mitch C came out, reviewed the issue and then inspected the entirety of the roof. He fully explained the nature of the problem, his plan of attack to resolve the problem, and how to work to prevent a recurrence in the future. He was kind, considerate, and consummately professional.
He and Ben M came out today to complete the repairs. They reviewed the materials that they would use, how they would prevent future problems, and kept us in the loop with complete photographs and records to detail the process for future reference. Mitch and Ben were also considerate of the problems with the current pandemic, which really reassured my family.
I could not be more impressed. 100% would recommend!
Feazel is professional, responsive and thorough! From the first interface with Tim S, to the roofing crew, to the billing department-EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, stellar product, and quality workmanship.
We were impressed with the entire process and would most definitely recommend to those who truly want an ethical, proficient and all around excellent experience.
Called for my "Free Estimate". Jake visited my house on two different days, first day on his own, second day with my insurance adjuster. Tried several times to get an estimate he refused to provide the promised estimate and told me that I just needed to send him the insurance estimate and he would do it for that amount and then advised me that if I tried to profit from the claim it was Insurance Fraud. As a formerly licensed Insurance Agent, I am familiar with the concept. I explained that not getting an estimate is the equivalent of taking your car to the mechanic and when the work is completed asking how much you owe and the answer is how much do you have. He kept promising to send me an estimate, but after several texts he finally admitted that even though he had been to my house twice, he had not taken any measurements and was not capable of providing me my estimate.
Mike stopped at my house after some recent hail storms and pointed out hail and wind damage to my roof and gutters. He then worked with me to contact my insurance company an file a claim which was approved. Mike followed up and took care of any problems. The new roof and gutter look great.
Great crew! Very efficient in everything they did including clean up. Roof looks fabulous
Diagnosed and solved my roofing problem in two days. Couldn’t have been easier.
They kept to their word, they compensated us for minor damage and they cleaned up as best as they could for a large roofing job… The occasional nail... We definitely recommend
Lori B was absolutely phenomenal!! She was very efficient and personable. A great advocate in helping me get my roof approved by the insurance company. It was tough but she and I stuck with it. My neighbor loved my roof so much they also are having their roof replaced by Lori with Feazel. Very happy with the entire crew and the outcome.
From my first call, everyone was polite and very helpful. When Hunter Evans came to look at the roof, he took time to explain what was needed and how long it would take. The crew did a fantastic job, finished in a day as promised. When they had finished, there was not one nail to be found in the grass. I have recommended this company to friends.
Finished expansive roof in 1 day. Delighted with the result. Recommend highly!
Great experience with Feazel! Zach C and Matt Sherry were great to work with! Communication was great and very happy with the price and the final product!
I choose Feazel out of the three companies to do our roof for a number of reasons.
1. Gary, his willingness to work with us on pricing and financing.
2. Josh, I think that’s his name, job site foreman or G/C, is his title. After he walks me through how he and his crew would do the job, he gets a latter from his work truck, gets on the roof for a closer look at the problem area then takes the time and patience to put a temporary fix on the roof just as it starts to sprinkle rain. He did all this Gary and I were inside going over what it would take to clear up the cosmetic damages to the sealing. And in all this time, my wife and I had not yet decided on which company we were going with. When Josh came back into the house and shared with me what all he noticed, and had done, I took a metal note of it and shared it with my wife when we made the decision to go with Feazel
3. The mutual trust that we, Gary, Josh and I formed where no money up front would not be needed.
4. The cleanup after the job was done and taking care of the punch list was done with great care as well.
Thank you for this great review! We're happy to hear that both Gary and Josh provided a consistent level of trust and communication throughout the project! We appreciate the time and willingness to leave these great comments.
I sign a contact with them on July23, Got a call 2 day later and was told it will be at the end Aug before they could start my place. I decide to cancel the contact that when I saw the 15% restocking fee that they going charge me. I ask what restocking fee, it going be a month before they start, will that in the contract, The only thing the sell person said was if they start a job, they will have to charge me the material and labor up to that point. That I understand that, I have the voice mail when they going to start. Another thing if this a good company they don't need no money down, in till the job is done.
Hi *** - Thank you for the time in bringing these matters to our attention. We'd love the opportunity to make things right and will be reaching out to do so. Thank you.
I’m fortunate my wife got tired of waiting for me to address a roof leak that was staining our kitchen ceiling. She searched our neighborhood chat room and found Micah G name as a highly recommended person that worked for Feazel Roofing. I called Micah and setup an appointment to get a repair estimate. He checked out the ceiling area where the leak was occurring and proceeded to inspect the entire roof. He identified the likely cause but also noted significant hail damage on both the house as well as the garage. He asked when we’d last had a hail storm but when I couldn’t recall exactly, he went online to a US database, entered our address and zip code and got a precise report documenting a severe hail storm had occurred several months earlier. He suggested I contact our homeowners insurance company and provide them the report information. My insurance company promptly assigned an independent assessor who called to schedule an inspection and asked if Micah would agree to meet with him concurrently. They met the next day and spent a long time examining the house and garage roofs. Micah’s dedication to assist me in all this dialog was just OUTSTANDING!
The insurance inspector concluded both roofs needed replacement. Micah then assisted in replacement shingle selection and introduced me to Mitchell M ***, who scheduled one of his excellent installation teams. The team did an excellent job of covering shrubs and over the next couple of days removed and replaced the entire roofs including several sheets of plywood. This also included replacing a skylight and roof exhaust fan. I’ve shared my story with many friends and neighbors so hopefully they’ve made a note to call Feazel should they incur a roof repair need in the future.
I cannot over state my level of satisfaction with Micah, Mitchell, their install team and also the ***, Alice W
1. Estimator came to house without ladder/on day other than date scheduled for estimate.
2. Returned next day (again at non-scheduled time) to inspect roof.
3. Did not provide results of inspection until > 8 days later and only at our request.
4. Written estimate unclear, states that areas to be repaired were verified by photos. No photos provided. Incomplete sentences.
5. Repeated pressure to replace entire roof- we observed 7 missing shingles that we needed to have replaced.
6. Inconsistent information re: algae removal )which was scheduled to be done last summer.
7. Finally, estimator did not wear mask on either visit.
6. Also
Hi *** Thank you for your time in submitting these matters to our attention. We're sorry we failed to provide you with a positive customer experience and would love the opportunity to make it up in any capacity. We will be in contact in an effort to do so.
1) 3 stars for a serious disconnect in communications. I wasn't expecting day to day updates, but not hearing from this company for weeks and months regarding work to be done is terrible. 2) had to call about nails and used material/ debris left in front yard and sidewalk and also unused roofing supplies left out in the open when had requested all to be placed either on porch or backyard at end of day. I had to have that stuff moved to a concealed area. 3) unfinished work wasnt tarped at first, roof was left exposed to elements-- thank goodness it didnt rain that night. 4) structural repairs done before roof installation completed, foreman Jake H emailed a change order for $5k, and some details of what had to be repaired-- wood was dropped off at the edge of my front yard and left there for next day. Again I had to have that wood concealed on my porch. Feazel reps were previously told because of the neighborhood, to place ANY unused/needed items on porch or backyard. So that was again forgotten. 5) the wood ordered for structural repairs were over 15 pieces, but my daughter who was home at the time noticed that after the repair work was completed and the subcontractors were cleaning up, they carted away at least 7 pieces of UNUSED and UNCUT wood unto their truck and she mentioned this to the foreman when he came out days later. He told her all wood was used. What happen to this wood that I paid for? As previously requested, any unused wood should have been left on property-either on the porch or backyard. 6) Feazel has a good roofing reputation and came highly recommended by another roofing company during the seeking estimates process, so other than the things mentioned in this review--the roof and gutter installation looks good--time and weather issues will tell if all holds up to duration of warranty. I wish the company well and hope they iron out their issues with communications regarding customers and subcontracted work orders.
I am writing this letter because I feel like I have exhausted myself with Feazel Roofing. In February 2019 we had damage done to our roof because of a wind storm. We shopped around and decided that Feazel would be my best option. We were impressed by the salesperson that came to the house and we were impressed by the reviews that we had read. After several delays because of weather we finally got our new roof installed. I came home from work the day of the install and the workers were just finishing up. I took a walk around the yard and was very happy at the job that had been done. They made sure that all of the nails and debris was picked up, which I appreciated very much. After they were done packing up I noticed that they was a substantial dent in my garage door where the skid of materials had been located. I immediately called our salesperson and told him about the damage. He told me that he would have someone get in contact with me to survey the damage and discuss the next steps. We set up I believe 3 different appointments over about a 3 week time frame for him to come out and look at the damage which he never made it to. On the 4th attempt he finally showed up . It took about 2 weeks for the parts to be installed. When they installed the garage door they didn’t install the trim around the door they said that Feazel would be in touch to install the trim. It took a month for Feazel to contact me to schedule to get the trim pieces installed, only after I texted him asking why it was taking so long. In November of 2019 we turned on our furnace for the first time of the season and the furnace wouldn’t work properly. After about 4 hours of investigating why we discovered that when the roof was installed the output for our furnace had been covered up and the furnace was not able to get air and therefore unable to work properly. I again contacted Feazel about the issue and they sent someone out to install the output properly and also to repair the pipes that had to be cut in order for the furnace to be able to work until someone could come out and fix it. Move ahead to May of 2020 and I received a picture of my ceiling in my laundry room from my husband. The celing paint was falling off, mold growing out the pipes from our furnace and the drywall dripping wet. AGAIN I contacted Feazel and told them of the issue. I spoke to Ricky and he told me that he would have to speak to someone about how to move forward. I didn’t hear back from Ricky but I did hear from the debt collector that my account had been sent to. I explained to her how unbelievably unhappy I was with the service that I had received from Feazel. She told me that I would have to pay atleast ½ of the debt that was due to them. I told her that I had just made ¼ of the amount and that after I had the repairs completed that I would continue to pay off the debt. 4 days later I finally received a phone call back from Feazel scheduling a time for a technician to come out and look at the roof and figure out where the leak was coming from. The email that I received stated that my appointment was for 8:15am. The technician showed up approximately 11am. When the technician came out he showed me pictures of the silicone ring around the pipe on the roof and how it had completely let loose. He said the incorrect silicone had been used when the boot was installed and also the incorrect boot had been installed which caused the leak. He reinstalled the silicone and installed another boot on the pipe. I asked him several times what the next steps would be and if someone from the office would be in contact with me about the interior damage. He said absolutely and they should be in contact within a couple of days. I had to call and figure out who I needed to speak with. It took two phone calls for Ricky to get back to me. He told me that my ceiling would simply be patched. I told him I wasn’t happy with that and that I wanted the mold growing in my home to be tested and the ceiling to be painted and the sheet of drywall to be replace, not simply just patched. He said I will have to speak to someone and get back to you. That conversation was on May15th. Today is June 3rd and I have yet to hear from Feazel. The debt collector has been in touch with me. I explained to her that I hadn’t heard from anyone so she reached out to Feazel and got back to me the following day saying that I would have to get 2 estimates for the interior damage because Feazel didn’t handle interior damages.
The customer failed to pay for the roof, per the terms of the contract. The customer was then sent to collections and agreed to make scheduled, mapped out payments. Since doing so, the customer has not adhered to the agreed payment schedule. As a result of this failure to pay, the warranty is voided per our policy. Even with a voided warranty, Feazel repaired a leak in the roof as well as agreed on paying for interior damages. We simply asked the customer to get two estimates from local painters in conjunction with these repairs; Feazel does not perform interior repairs and/or painting. It is in the customers interest and sole responsibility, per her own statement, to move forward with the interior repairs and painting.
yes I have but I have no way to get the estimates to them.
Feazel replaced our roof ~9 months ago. The roof is already showing mold growth and has ventilation issues. I had no such issues for the previous 9 years in our home with our old roof. Feazel refuses to assist in any resolution and states the mold growth and lack of ventilation is not their fault. Though, again, no such issues existed for 9 years.
We spoke with the customer Tuesday, February 11, 2020. In doing so, we arranged an insulation inspection on the customers home with the original company who installed it about seven years ago. We are actively working to assist in resolving the problem that was caused by the insulation contractor, as we are confident the issue was not caused by Feazel.
