Have tried to get an honest answer from Feldmann Engineering about a fuel problem with my Jiffy Pro4 Gen3 auger. All they would tell me was it needed an adjustment. They also said it had to be done at the factory because of an EPA reg. I checked with EPA and the only thing we could come up with is while it is under warranty it has to be done at factory. My auger is 2 and ahalf years old. Out of warranty. So whats up. Trying to scam people out of their money by lying to them?

Review: Bought a Jiffy Pro 4 auger, drilled maybe 30 holes and started having power issues, contacted the company and was told to go to a repair place. I went to Dover Marine and was told that the connecting rod is broken and Jiffy has no option for repair. So now after spending over $500 I have a paper weight.Desired Settlement: I just want to use it in full working order!

We received your e-mail regarding the above complaint on January 16, 2014.

Today (January 20, 2014) we made contact with the individual who filed the complaint and the service dealer in NH that was involved in fixing the equipment. Even though the engine and related parts were out of the limited manufacturer’s warranty period for Jiffy® products, Feldmann Engineering elected to replace the engine at no cost to the customer. The new engine will be shipped to the dealer today and delivered by the end of the week. Hopefully the gentlemen who filed the complaint will be totally satisfied and using his new auger by this coming weekend.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have tried to contact the customer service department several times over the past two weeks to obtain information on having an ice auger repaired that was a Christmas gift. There has be no response from the company and I have given up. Really disappointed with a company that is local and yet has such a wide known name (JIFFY). My son in law tried to warn me about the Feldmann group and I should have listened to him. He bought a JIFFY auger a few years back and had nothing but problems with it and had the same result with their customer service. I am totally disappointed.

Review: I purchased a Jiffy PRO 4 Ice Auger, which is currently under warranty by the manufacturer. The high-pressure fuel line has cracked (failed), preventing the propane fuel from reaching the engine; therefore rendering the device useless. Beginning Monday Jan 19th, I have attempted to phone the company (###-###-####) three times a day, every day, for the last 3 days. Their automated phone system puts me in an endless loops which states "all representatives are busy... Press 1 to wait, Press 2 to leave a message." In the beginning of my attempt to reach them, I proceeded to wait on hold in excess of 30 minutes - which is more than ample time to answer incoming calls. After no success in waiting, I proceeded to leave a message with my contact information - to which no one has responded. I have also emailed the address posted on their websites homepage (www.jiffyonice.com), at [email protected], in which again, no one has responded. It is unacceptable for a business to operate in this manner and has prevented me from finding resolution with the device that they manufacture and warranty.Desired Settlement: I would like the replacement part shipped to me, so that I may restore full functionality to my device, which is under full warranty.
