Ferguson Custom Cabinetry And Millworks Reviews (8)

My wife and have tried at least half a dozen times to visit Ferguson Cabinets during their posted business hours, and out of those attempts, were successful only once Two of the attempts there was a sign on the door stating something to the effect that they were on a job The other times there simply was nobody in sight and the doors were locked The time we were able to get in to see anyone, we talked about ordering cabinet doors, and borrowed some samples When my wife tried to return during business hours to return the samples and bring some items from home to determine which door finish we wanted, etc., she was unable to get in....Nobody was there My wife called a number left on the door for appointments, and a woman (Jennifer)answered, "Hello."....No indication she was affiliated with Ferguson...No professional business greeting My wife then asked her when or how to meet with someone to discuss a possible order, and return the samples we had borrowed Jennifer then said told my wife to just leave the samples at the front door Mind you, my wife was speaking in very civil tones....exhibiting no anger Yet Jennifer's tone was hostile and rude So my wife said, "Are you telling me you don't want to do business with us?" Whereupon Jennifer replied, "No, I don't want to do business with you!" This level of unprovoked hostility and rudeness on the part of a business is inexcusable I have studied management under some of the best business minds in America, and taught management and leadership at the University level for years, and Ferguson Cabinets has demonstrated some of the worst possible qualities of a business They do not deserve to remain in business, and probably will not for long I certainly would recommend against anyone taking a risk with this poorly managed operation I would never trust them with my money, and do not think anyone should

We hired Ferguson Cabinetry to replace the bottom bank of cabinets in our kitchen due to a water leak that had occurred underneath the cabinets They gave us a bid that included the price of the cabinets ($2,660.00) and the installation ($1,055.00) They were aware that we were replacing the cabinets as a result of water damage and would need to do some kind of mold remediation but they did not add and amount for that to the original bid I signed the original bid Later, I asked for a bid on flooring in the hallway and living room (which also needed to be replaced as a result of the same leak) The bid they sent over was outside of our budget so I didn't respond and we went with another contractor for that work I didn't realize that they had included an amount of $3,in the flooring bid that was for restoration When the work was finished, that $3,was on the final invoice I was surprised by it and my husband called to ask them about it We also contacted our insuranc

Ferguson Cabinetry was the best experience ever!

The work of the job is not being disputed, the job details were complete as per contract. However, the extra knobs and balance have not yet been received.

My wife and have tried at least half a dozen times to visit Ferguson Cabinets during their posted business hours, and out of those 6 attempts, were successful only once. Two of the 5 attempts there was a sign on the door stating something to the effect that they were on a job. The other times there simply was nobody in sight and the doors were locked.

The time we were able to get in to see anyone, we talked about ordering cabinet doors, and borrowed some samples. When my wife tried to return during business hours to return the samples and bring some items from home to determine which door finish we wanted, etc., she was unable to get in....Nobody was there.

My wife called a number left on the door for appointments, and a woman (Jennifer)answered, "Hello."....No indication she was affiliated with Ferguson...No professional business greeting. My wife then asked her when or how to meet with someone to discuss a possible order, and return the samples we had borrowed. Jennifer then said told my wife to just leave the samples at the front door. Mind you, my wife was speaking in very civil tones....exhibiting no anger. Yet Jennifer's tone was hostile and rude. So my wife said, "Are you telling me you don't want to do business with us?" Whereupon Jennifer replied, "No, I don't want to do business with you!"

This level of unprovoked hostility and rudeness on the part of a business is inexcusable. I have studied management under some of the best business minds in

America, and taught management and leadership at the University level for 12 years, and Ferguson Cabinets has demonstrated some of the worst possible qualities of a business. They do not deserve to remain in business, and probably will not for long. I certainly would recommend against anyone taking a risk with this poorly managed operation. I would never trust them with my money, and do not think anyone should.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and...

have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This dispute would be over if I could just get an itemized bill.  That's all I am asking for.  The business response does not address this issue.Dear Ms. Garcia:I am writing this to contribute additional information on the above numbered case.  I apologize for not having included this in my rejection of their reply. The documentation that [redacted] submitted to you totals $6,538.91.  We have written 2 checks to them.  On3/25 we gave them $5,718.09 and on 5/2 we gave them 1.262.55.All I am asking for is documentation on all charges.  This documentation will be important to me when I file my federal income taxes.  I have explained this to them 4 times and have received no replay. In short, I am asking for supporting paperwork to support the difference between what we have paid and what we have been billed.Thank you for your help[redacted]

Regards,

Good morning,I had explained to Mr. [redacted] that the invoice was for the extra knobs and installation of thereof, I apologize for that this information was unclear after our phone conversation. I believe the only resolution that would satisfy Mr. [redacted] would be to rescind the final bill. We wish you and Mr. [redacted] the very best.Warm wishes,[redacted]
