I have attached the INVOICE that was sent to *** ***'s email, the day she said she wanted us to do the work, as well as the invoice sent to her on October 5th and October 6th when the work was completed. We spoke to *** *** on the phone and in person, on October 6,
2017, he said he wasn’t going to pay his bill. We expressed to *** that we wanted to work with them, however, *** did not want to hear it, and flat out refused to pay any part of the bill (invoiced on September 29,2017) including the installation of the base cabinetryThe invoice that was sent on September 29, shows the restoration as a separate line item all togetherNonetheless, *** was unwilling to work out a solution and shrugged off that he left us no choice other than to lien the property, which we expressed we did not want to doHowever, *** flat out just did not care, regardless of how many times we said we did not want to place a lien and wanted to work it out. Therefore, they left us no other choice than to place a preliminary lien on the propertyArizona state law 33-Notice to Property Owner If bills are not paid in full for the labor, professional services, materials, machinery, fixtures or tools furnished or to be furnished, a mechanic's lien leading to the loss, through court foreclosure proceedings, of all or part of your property being improved may be placed against the property. We regret we could not find a solution, we would have been more than willing to help them, but his solution was contention and disrespectBut even still, we discounted the restoration from $3,to $3,that they were invoice on September 29,

We never said we were unwilling to pay the invoice. We asked for clarification on the charges. The pre-lien was placed on our house the same day work was completed. The business did not give us the customary 7-day period in which to ask for clarification on charges

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined
that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This dispute would be over if I could just get an itemized bill. That's all I am asking for. The business response does not address this issue.Dear MsGarcia:I am writing this to contribute additional information on the above numbered case I apologize for not having included this in my rejection of their reply. The documentation that *** submitted to you totals $6, We have written checks to them On3/we gave them $5,and on 5/we gave them 1.262.55.All I am asking for is documentation on all charges This documentation will be important to me when I file my federal income taxes I have explained this to them times and have received no replay. In short, I am asking for supporting paperwork to support the difference between what we have paid and what we have been billed.Thank you for your help*** ** ***

Good day,     In Mechanics lien law a Preliminary Notice is a notice sent by the general contractor, subcontractor, materialmen, equiprepment lessors or other parties to a construction project not to create a Mechanics lien but rather to establish the right to file a Mechanics lien. Therefore, when the Stafford's stated that they were not going to pay their bill, so, we sent a PRELIMINARY NOTICE to establish the right to lien the property. The law only gives general contractors, materialmen, and other labors so many days to send this notice, therefore, the preliminary notice was sent within the law given time frame. In this case, the Stafford's were days from selling their home, therefore, it was necessary to establish this right immediately.Arizona state law 33-992.01Notice to Property OwnerIf bills are not paid in full for the labor, professional services, materials, machinery, fixtures or tools furnished or to be furnished, a mechanic's lien leading to the loss, through court foreclosure proceedings, of all or part of your property being improved may be placed against the property.      Again, I have attached the INVOICE that was sent to Lara Stafford's email, the day she said she wanted us to do the work, as well as the invoice sent to her on October 5th and October 6thwhen the work was completed.      We spoke to Mark Stafford on the phone and in person, on October 6, 2017, he said he wasn’t going to pay his bill.  We expressed to Mark that we wanted to work with them, however, Mark flat out refused to pay any part of the bill.     We regret we could not find a solution, we would have been more than willing to help them, but his solution was contention and disrespect. But even still, we discounted therestoration from $3,500.00 to $3,175.00 that they were invoice on September 29, 2017.

Good morning,I had explained to Mr. [redacted] that the invoice was for the extra knobs and installation of thereof, I apologize for that this information was unclear after our phone conversation. I believe the only resolution that would satisfy Mr. [redacted] would be to rescind the final bill. We wish you and Mr. [redacted] the very best.Warm wishes,[redacted]

The work of the job is not being disputed, the job details were complete as per contract. However, the extra knobs and balance have not yet been received.
