complete, as the chimney was leaking and, at the time, it was determined that it was from the chimney, and not the roof. We received a call from the new owner in the summer of 2015 about a leak around the chimney. We went out to the above address and inspected the interior and exterior where the leak was occurring. Upon inspection of the exterior (chimney), we noticed that the chimney had not been tuck pointed or that new counter flashing had not been installed. We told the new homeowner that the chimney needed addressed and that the roof had our 10 year labor warranty, but not the chimney. The homeowner also pointed out pealing paint on the porch. We determined, at that time, that this was not a leak, but the result of the paint not being applied at the proper time or an inferior paint product was used by the previous owner. After that inspection by Falk and Sons, it was determined that the new owner would look into getting the chimney problems addressed. We received another call from the new owner stating that the chimney is not in use and she may have it removed and wanted an estimate to roof it in properly after it was removed. Falk and Sons stated that we could not give a proper estimate until the chimney was removed, that was the last Falk and Sons had heard from the new owner.
This is the first Falk and Sons is hearing of another company addressing the chimney and of the new leak that is occurring.
We will gladly look into any new leaks that are occurring, but do not feel that chimney is the fault of Falk and Sons, as the leak was caused by the chimney and not the roof installations.

We don't accept their response because most of it is false. They did note the chimney was a problem when they came out. They told us to fix the chimney or remove it. They told us to call back and have a time set up to roof over for [redacted] I called back numerous times and talked to an older lady once. She was extremely rude and lied about having someone call me back. I have all the phone records indicating how many times I called. That is when we couldn't wait any longer due to water coming in. I personally took pictures and Dahm brothers did too. The chimney was a problem but Falk and Son didn't use the right calk (not sure the exact name) where the chimney and roof met. Also, the plywood was never torn off and had serious issues. If they want to keep saying it was only the chimney then why did they refuse to call back? Before [redacted] started we put a claim in our insurance so we also have there records indicating it was more than the chimney. I'm very disappointed with this company and will make sure no one I know uses them. I was willing to do our part and get the chimney removed but they couldn't even respond.

I wouldn't be this upset if Falk and Son respected me. I was not asking for anything Free. Do what you say and don't promise things if you can't hold it.

I do not know what happened with the communication, contact with past, current and future customers is very important to us, so I am sorry for this issue.
As I stated in the previous response, I am willing to meet with the homeowner to see what we can do for the current leak and will discuss the previous issue at that time.
