Review: I called the company to get a free estimate done for my three windows. When [redacted] came, instead of giving me a free estimate as he promised on the phone, he insisted to start fixing the windows, telling me that he will come back the next day to finish the project. He also insisted that I would pay him $200.00 for the part of the project that he completed.However, what he did was placing the wrong size springs into my windows. Now, as a result I have to use a great force opening my windows, jeopardizing my life and the lives of my neighbors.Since July [redacted], 2013, I have been trying to contact [redacted] but he either does not pick up the phone or gives me different types of excuses. Now, he has to come back to place correct size springs into my windows and finish fixing the window that he started working on July [redacted], 2013.This is a very serious matter that must be resolved as soon as possible because of the safety issue that involves not only my life but also the lives of my neighbors.Desired Settlement: [redacted] has to come back to remove the wrong size springs that he installed into two windows, and place the correct size springs. I paid him $200.00 for this part of the project but he just used the springs that he had in his car instead of getting the right size springs.He also has take out two incorrect size springs from the third window and place the correct size springs. I paid for those two springs. He will also have to add two more correct springs and I will pay him additional $40.00.

To whom it may concern,

My company got a letter informing about customer complain. [redacted] complains about incomplete window repair involving some more statements.

Here are some points to explain the situation:

First of all, it's not reasonable for my workers to start installation or repair without customers permission and ability to pay. If a client doesn't agree to pay we are not starting our work.

Second, [redacted] installed completely the same springs size as it was before. It is not possible to install the wrong spring size into the window. All, my workers always have different size springs and other parts of windows into their cars. All details are brand new.

This client has very old windows and my worker explained her that in her situation changing the springs won't resolve her problem. She needs to change the whole windows by themselves to avoid to use a great force opening her window. Anyway she decided to change only springs.

[redacted] was at home watching my worker. She checked everything before he left. She didn't have any issues about his work.

My worker took money just for 2 windows which he completed to do.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The company representative already charged me $40.00 for the window that he has not finished fixing. He stated that the window needs 4 new springs. He installed 2 springs, insisted that I should pay $40.00 for them on the same day, and told me that on the next day, when he comes, he will install 2 more springs. He also told me that I should pay another $40.00 for the last 2 springs on the day when he comes back.

Unfortunately, almost 2 months passed by since the day when he started working on the window, but he still did not show up to finish his work.Your Answer Here]

The company worker changed 10 springs and charged $200. This work was completely finished. He didn't take any extra money. My company is not responsible for client's misunderstanding.
