The following is my response to the complaint filed by *** *** 1. The customer requested a roof repair estimate to address leaks in specified areas of the residence2. Our technician informed the customer
upon initial inspection a new roof was the preferred option. The customer insisted on a repair estimate for leaks in the specified areas of the residence3. We provided a written estimate to repair the roof in the specified area of the residence. The customer authorized the work4. When our technicians were there performing the work the customer asked that they close up an opening in a gable wall vent which they did. 5. We invoiced for the work authorized including closing the gable vent and the customer paid the invoice in full. 6. The customer reported leaks in the same area of the repairs. Our technicians returned and addressed the problem at no charge to the customer. 7. The customer reported several weeks later a leak in the back bedroom which is a new area not addressed in the previous written estimate. 8. We provided the customer a written estimate for the new work which she refused to have done and insisted on a full refund even though the original work we performed was not leaking. 9. We explained our view to the customer and she then reported us to the Revdex.com. We performed the work authorized by the customer, we were paid, and there is no problem with that work. There is additional work that needs to be done which the customer has refused. The work we originally performed and the work we proposed would still have to be done even if a new roof is installed.
