Review: August 2013 we received temporary orthotics and were told that a permanent pair would be made. After frequent calls to the office and no return calls, I went to the office to request my product and was told there were issues with the billing department and I should have gotten a bill. Since I did not, my bill was pulled up and I paid $340 for the product via my credit card and was told the product should be in over the next 6-8 weeks. We waited and still no product. I called and received no response. More calls were made, and the office clerk called me June 15 to say that a refund would be issued and that I needed to verify my mailing address. Nothing arrived. I continued to call and did not receive a status on my refund. August 8, 2014, the office manager Glory left a voicemail message stating that she had a check and an envelope that would be mailed out that day, and that I should receive it over the next few days. Still, nothing came. I went up to the office on August 22, 2014 only to be told that "you know how insurance is" and that there "wasn't money to cover the refund check" and that I should wait. Dr. P[redacted] apologized for the mistake and when I asked if I could receive my chek by the following Friday, she responded, "it will take a few days, but yes." She even showed me the envelope that was stamped and addressed ready to mail to me, but I could not receive it. Now if they sent me a bill, it would have gone to collections if I didn't pay it. So why do I have to wait for my refund, when I paid for a product that I never received. Her billing department even sent me another bill for the $340 amount, and I was livid. This is ridiculous, customer service stinks, and I want my money!Desired Settlement: I want my $340 back. Period.
