Revdex.com:
As I stated in my original complaint, I gave him the dimensions of the pool, and asked specifically how much it would be to fill the pool. His quote was $300. At no time did he say to me per load. Furthermore, when I called him regarding the communication error, he told me it was not his job to determine pool size. I feel he deliberately misled me in his original estimate, and is now trying to cover his tracks. I know his driver admitted to me he needed to be more clear in his estimates, like this has happened before. I want some sort of refund for the bait and switch tactics that were used by this company. If he values his companies reputation, that should not be a problem for him.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

volume a pool will hold. Itold her that it would be $310/ per load. Not one time did I tell her how much volume her pool willhold, as our company has never done that and it is not ourjob to determine how much an individual’spool will hold. Our company was actually shorted $10 for the load, but I did not stress that issue. On the day of the delivery I received a phone call from the lady and I could tell that she was upset by thetone of her voice. She went on to tell me that I told her it would be $300 “to fill her pool” and (said“ma’am I told you that it would be $310 per load” and that “1 never quantify individuals pool volumes asit is not my job”. She then proceeded to get very nasty with me and I asked her if she still wanted thewater because we had a very tight schedule and many other pools we had to get to that day. After thatshe proceeded to curse myself out on the phone calling me vulgar names and she also directed some ofher anger at my driver cursing in front of him as well. I feel as if I acted in a professional manner andended the phone conversation right then and there. I then proceeded to call my driver and asked him toreceive payment from the lady before we emptied the water into her pool. She paid $300 for the oneload as quoted to her. This lady not only treated myself with disrespect but also my driver. I have a pricesheet that I price every load of water off of that I would be glad to show her. In my opinion, she actedvery inappropriately and I prefer not to do business with an individual like herself ever again, as we hereat Forbes Milk and Water Transport try extremely hard to build good relationships with our customers. Our company has a very good reputation around the area as many would agree. In conclusion I did nottell her at any point that it would be $300 to fill her pool, as she was told that it was $300 per truck load.In normal circumstance I would not mind working with an individual on a problem such as this, but inthis particular circumstance I did not appreciate being treated the way this lady treated me over thephone nor how she acted in front of my employee.

Review: I was given this company's name by my swimming pool company to provide me the water to fill my swimming pool. I called them roughly 2 weeks ago to inquire about pricing, so I could compare pries. I spoke with [redacted]. I gave him the dimensions of the pool, and asked him how much it would cost to fill my pool. He gave me a price of $300. At no time did he mention to me that was per load of water. He was to deliver the water on Saturday around 5pm to give me time to install the liner. His driver arrived at 10am in the morning, and because we were not ready had to leave. They then said they could deliver the water first thing Monday morning. When the driver arrived he told me it would be 2 loads to fill my pool, and it would cost $600. Double what I had been quoted. I said to wait, I would call [redacted] to question him. His response to me was that it was not his responsibility to determine how much water I needed. I told him it certainly was his responsibility, that I had called him with the dimensions of the pool, and asked him how much it was to have the pool filled. He said do you want the water or not. At that point, what was I to do. I needed water in my Pool so I had him empty the load of water he had in his tanker and wrote him a check. My pool is now only half full and I am out of money. I feel I was mislead, and they know how hard it is to get water delivered, so they know you are stuck. I feel this is really a type of bait and switch, and most unfair. As the driver was leaving he told me that [redacted] was young, and he would talk to him to be more clear when giving pricing information, but this would not help me.Desired Settlement: I would like a discount on the future load of water I need to fill my pool for the deceptive pricing I was given.
