Fort Knox Mailboxes

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: What Fort Knox Mailbox States is "not true", why did they never mention on their response the deception of the weight on just the CBU box and not the post they promised to deliver? That's called bait and switch! They state all their boxes are unique, then why do their CBU boxes and on their website, and neighbors near us who also purchased different size boxes from Fort Knox Mailbox all have gussets at top and bottom plates to reinforce the post, but ours don't, which is taller and should have gussets? Also neighbors bottom plates are larger and have 1/2" holes for thicker anchors for anchoring to concrete and ours has only 3/8" holes with less stronger anchors to anchor to concreteSome mailbox doors are crooked with gaps! Yes they offered a refund if we sent this one back with issues, but we needed a CBU mailbox to get our mail, our mailman took our vandalized one, we can't wait for a refund till Fort Knox Mailbox got theirs back, and then order and wait months till a new one is made and delivered to us from a different manufactureWhy didn't they just build us another one send it out and exchanged this one that has issues for that one, or give us some kind of refund to accept this poorly made one, which not the weight that was promised and documented that we paid for? We have done absolutely everything we can to attempt to please this customer.  We have offered him all of his money back, which he rejects.  Unfortunately, we can do nothing further.  We wish him and his neighbors well.

We are very sorry that this customer remains displeased.  This customer purchased a custom made cluster box unit.  Because it is a custom box, each one will be unique.  We have been selling Cluster Box Units for over 10 years and this is the first dis-satisfied customer.  We do...

change our designs slightly as years go by, in order to continually improve our product.  We NEVER compromise on security.  We promise the MOST SECURE, heavy-duty mailboxes on the market and stand by our workmanship!
This customer first addressed his complaints in an email.  We promptly responded and explained why the gussets were not needed on his cluster box, and were also, never included in the original quote.  He just THOUGHT they should be in the design, but were never promised and are certainly not needed for the security of his neighbors' mail. 
The customer changed the order of his address numbers on his box multiple times, but we did send it out with the addresses of the most updated copy of his order.  We apologized for the confusion and immediately offered him free replacement numbers!  He declined.
The customer remained unhappy, so within three days of his complaint, we offered him 100% OF HIS MONEY BACK even though that is against our terms and conditions on anything custom.  We stand by our workmanship and certainly wouldn't want him to retain a "defective box".  The customer had 30 days to return the product, with everything, including the return shipping price, all AT OUR EXPENSE!  Once again, he declined. 
No company can offer more than 100% of one's money back.  We offered him absolutely everything back, but he chose to keep our product.  Why?  Because it's a great mailbox and he knows it.  He knows he cannot find anything better on the market. 
Some customers simply cannot be made happy.  There are unhappy customers which cannot be pleased, no matter what.  We sincerely hope the tens of thousands of satisfied customers will speak much louder than this 1 person.
He refused our offered 100% refund.  We even gave him 30 days of basically free usage of our cluster box unit before returning.  That tells us that he really isn't that dis-satisfied with the product.  It's unfortunate for all those who lost their time during this transaction.  We wish these customers the best, and know that their mail will be safe.
