I believe the biggest concern we have is a miscommunication between the customer and our staff After extensive research, film footage and interviews with six of our employees, it is readily apparent to me that the customer misunderstood that the employee he approached to retrieve his cigars from the locked office was not only off the clock but she was also an employee with no access to the office She did not have a key and is not authorized to be in this area We value our relationship with our customers as we are a hometown, independent retail grocery store and we do truly believe that the customer comes first and the customer in this complaint is a regular visitor to the store and we hope he continues to be so We look forward to his future visits and as far as a concern for his physical safety, of course that is not an issue and I believe that this concern may have been overstated Thank you for your correspondence as we see this as an opportunity to learn from our mistakes, perceived or otherwise [redacted]
