Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I had scheduled to have an oil change by a certified Toyota technician which in turn emptied my transmission fluid an overfilled the engine oil. Once returning to the shop I had another certified Toyota technician inspect the car and make repairs. According to my release paperwork on 7/26/14, the engine oil was changed and the transmission fluid levels were good. The car was driven based on these assumptions. I cannot have the same shop that allowed a technician to empty transmission fluid and overfill the oil judge whether any damage was done to my vehicle. I will need a third party to inspect the vehicle for damages and also for a full transmission flush to check for any internal damage.
Regards,

We would gladly have our master tech do a tranny flush and show him the results. It's our experience that if any damage was done that it would show up immediately. but if it settles the customer's mind we would gladly do the flush. We reject having a third party go on a witch hunt to access any damage on an 8 year old car.

On 7-26-14 @ 80,799 miles customer [redacted] was in for an oil change service in his Toyota Corolla.
On 7-28-14 @ 80,887 miles customer returned for a transmission check for possible slipping. Customer suspects transmission fluid was drained when oil change service was performed.

Customer reported he had noticed the issue after his car was serviced on 7-26-14 and had elected to drive in from 40+ miles. Shop was not notified or given an opportunity to come to customers location for immediate assistance. Customers car was driven 88 miles total. When inspected transmission fluid was several quarts low. Added transmission fluid to correct level. Completed a diagnostic scan, no codes were present. No damage was found, no codes, no further service action required. Service manager advised customer dealer will assist with transmission issues for 12 months from date of service. Customer was advised that if anything transmission related would occur "related to low fluid" it would be soon if not immediate. Car was driven a relatively small distance with low transmission fluid level. Customer identified the transmission appeared to be slipping yet still elected to operate the vehicle and not call for assistance.
Mr. [redacted] stated he would not be back and was upset when he left the store yesterday afternoon. Aside from a 1 year "transmission assistance" guarantee customer dealer offered no other goodwill or refunds
