Foster Automotive Repair

Had car for at least 6 weeks and continues to give me the runaround on completing repairs. He has been fully paid and he refuses to reimburse me.Car was towed to shop around 6/18/2015. Transmission is sitting in his shop and no action is being taken. I get constant refusal to repair car or refund money. I have no way around and have to pay $100 plus a week to get around. I have babies at home and I can't get to the store or anywhere else when they need something without relying on others who are not always available when needed. He tried to put me in a loaner car with no drive out tag or paperwork on 8/29/2015. He claimed he was waiting on someone to bring one but of course they never showed up. He constantly lies. I took my truck to get ac charged he installed parts I didn't need I payed well over the amount we agreed on.He damaged computer causing $900 extraHe first told me I only needed Freon. He then told me I need to leave my truck saying hot air needed to be removed from system.two days later he called telling me I needed a compressor at a price of $870 installed.I gave him ok to do that work,and to call me when its ready.He didn't call for a week so I went to his shop truck wasn't ready.the compressor wasn't on the truck he said he had installed a new compressor but it was bad he was ordering another one.so he said it will be ready in a couple of days another week went by he didnt call I went to his shop he told me it was ready and to start it up and check it out.I started the truck the air wasn't getting cold and I nocticed the engine was surging and misfiring something it had not done since I owned it.he told me he needed to reset codes in the computer to correct this and the problem with air was to much Freon was in system .He called me a few days latter telling me I needed a dryer cost would be$100 I said ok call me when its ready.another week passed I went back to his shop asked him was it ready he told me it was . I started it up it was preforming like it was when I was there last time.he said engine surge and misfire was minor and he would check air.this process went on for five weeks with me going back to him and the truck running bad I finally decided to go pick up my truck and if it was missing a little I would take it somewhere if the problem was minor by these time he had not oniy installed the compressor and dryer I gave ok to do but he also installed a fan and condenser for air that was not needed at the time he said that I would need it down the road.these extra increased my bill to almost $1100 So I went to the shop asked him was truck ready he told me it was I started up the truck everything was the same except that air was much better.I wrote a check for the amount that was on the invoice drove the truck to my house it was cutting off most of the way.once I got home I decided that I am paying to much and my truck was running very good before I took it to him the air was only issue so I took it back to him told him I cant ride like this my truck was runnin .good utill he worked on it he agreed and promised to correct any problems he also installed some sensors on truck he said I needed to correct a slight hesitation that only lasts 5sec s when truck was started sometimes. it never lasted more than 5 sec,s truck still ran good with this small issue.I stopped payment on the check until he fixed my truck back like it was when he got it.ever time I would ask him whats wrong he would say he need to resest a code in computer or it needed another part he finally had it towed to a dealer because he could not find out what was wrong with the truck they told him that the computer was the problem I needed a new one. he had it towed back to his shop and told me what they said ,said he didn't cause the part to go bad when he worked on it and to come and pick it up.when I picked it up he tried to make me pay the $1062.00 for original bill plus $91 .I didnt pay for him taking it to dealer I took the truck to dealer myself they told me it was very possible computer was shorted out by him but they had no way to prove it They replaced computer for me at a cost of $863 he kept truck 6 weeks most of time trying to figure what to do to correct the problem he and I no he caused.Desired SettlementI would like for him to admit that a mistake was made while truck was in his shop and pay me back the money I spent getting it fixed at the dealer shop
