Franklin Appliance Repair

We made an appointment and were told between 9 and 12 on Friday. I explained what was going on and the repairman looked at it and called in for a part. It was expensive for the repair but we agreed. Since he was going to be in the Columbia area the next day, he said he could come by Saturday. My husband normally sleeps during the day since he works nights. We go out to breakfast on Saturday when he gets home. No specific time was relayed to us so I called. The repairman said he would come by here after a service call in Columbia. He was in Franklin and thought it would take him 20 minutes from Franklin to Columbia. I told him there was no way he could make that drive in 20 minutes. We went to breakfast pretty sure an hour and a half would be plenty of time. I think he saw the traffic situation on 31 and decided to stop by our house first. We had just gotten seated and he calls to say he's at my house. My daughter lives nearby so I asked her to go over. He was rude with her and acted very high handed. We were flexible about his schedule and I arranged for my daughter to pay the balance. He was unprofessional with her making rude remarks about how I knew we had to pay the other half. She is an Executive Assistant with an Architectural firm and is not used to being disrespected in that fashion. There are a lot of women in positions of authority. With the cost of your repairs the least your service people can do is be courteous.

I wanted to give a good review on this company. Usually people only take the time to leave bad feedback. I realized my refrigerator had stopped cooling at 2pm.I found this company online. I was so worried that I was going to lose all my groceries because of course I had just went to the grocery store the day before. To my surprise they were able to squeeze me in today. The office lady told me if I could find her the model number if would increase my chances of getting it fixed today. She was very patient while I tried to read the tiny numbers on the sticker. I could not find my glasses so she offered to let me text her personal phone with a picture of the model number. The tech arrived at my home around 3:30 and had the part on his truck, He was even kind enough to clean behind the refrigerator while he had it pulled out. I was so shocked how dirty it was back there. Hopefully I will not need an appliance person again but if I do I will certainley call them back, I will also refer them to anyone I know who needs a repair.
