As the result of the installation of new gas lines in my neighborhood a basement glass block window was broken The contractors doing the work for Vectren Gas contracted with Gem City Home Improvements to repair the damageGeneral Manager Tony *** contacted me and we discussed the details of the jobMr*** said he would get back with meOver the next Four (4) weeks and multiple calls/messages from me, Mr*** failed to contact me I was finally transferred to him on Mr*** told he how busy he had been pouring tons of concrete and other 'big' jobsI simply told him I thought it was rude not to have responded to any of my calls
Mr*** immediately became enraged telling me he did not need me to tell him that ignoring my calls was rude....that he didn't cause the damage and that he was not going to do the job and HUNG UP on me
I sat in stunned silence while he TOLD ME OFFI did not contract with him nor did I ever accuse him of causing the damage
Clearly the motto of GEM CITY HOME IMPROVEMENTS....'WE ARE PROFESSIONALS' Does not apply to the General Mangers position
