Review: No where's in my contract does it say there will be a 1680 payment to pay at the end of my loan and to be paid right then and there. I just talked to a lady on the phone and she told my wife that last payment would be 1400, but when talking with me she tells me 1680. She tells me because the car wasn't oil changed every 3 months but if you take it there at every 3 months and it hasn't been 5000 miles they turn you away and don't do your oil change but then now at the end they are charging you because your oil wasn't changed every 3 months when they turn you away because they say its only 5000 miles! my contract also says I will get my security deposit back and says that my security deposit is the amount in paragraph 2, which is 500.00.Desired Settlement: I want to be credit the $500 security deposit that it says I get back and also credit for the oil changes $200 since I was turned away when I tried taking the car every 3 months. And since there wasn't an amount specified on my contract that I signed saying that I would be paying $1680 or $1480 whatever it is since they told me and my wife 2 different amounts I think we should take the 1480 - the $500 security deposit that it says I would get back on my contract - $200 for the oil changes = $780 that I would be willing to pay even though my contract doesn't state that I need to pay anything!!! In addition the total amount that it says in my contract that I would be paying for the car if you take my payment and multiply it by 91 payments which is what my contract states then the amount that my contract is for is paid in full!!

Review: I had what I though at first was buying a car sooner learned it was a lease. Which they said I would own and the end of my contract which was not a problem until I got a job there and was selling cars. And was told to make sure to sell the cars and feed the people whatever they want to hear. They make you read over and over the policy so when going over paper work you can go fast so they do not catch on to what your saying. After months of lieing to customers I quit and got a new job. But was still working on weekends to help them. The car that I had broke down. FIRST they told me it was motor mounts and a few other problems that cost me around 2,500 dollars after fixing THAT PROBLEM my car would not start. I took it back they said the brain in the car was no good and they didn't want to fix it would cost more then what the car was worth to them ok no problem at the time I had a truck from them. No sooner then leaving a month later the back window in my truck was falling out and when I called in to service a lady name [redacted] laughed and told me that was a problem. At the time the wrong end was rubbing and making sounds I new something was wrong finally after dealing with POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I dropped the truck off. Now I have to repossessions on my credit. Which I know I under stand the one truck that's not a problem maybe if they contacted me I could have set up a payment plan. But I don't understand why a car they didn't feel the need to fix is on my credit ? why is that my fault. I know for a fact there have been employees who have turned their cars in simply because they broke up with there boyfriend or wanted to buy a new car. ALSO have seen from my self customer getting the same NIKI FINNEY AND BETH BURTON are two people I know did not have cars reported to there credit and gave them back. This company has ruined my credit and now my home buying do to them being selfish and I know I am not the only person that has wrote in something needs to be done and folders need to be looked in to!!!! Why would you put on someone credit they owe you nothing and account is closed but still a repossessionDesired Settlement: I would like this to be taken off my credit. and have them looked into

Response:

I am writing you in response to the Revdex.com Complaint, ID [redacted], submitted to you by [redacted] concerning a credit reporting dispute with Freedom Rides, Inc. We acknowledge that on January 16, 2015, [redacted] filed a complaint with the Revdex.com alleging the following concerns: 1. Freedom Rides has “ruined her credit” by reporting two repossessions on her credit bureau. 2. [redacted] would like Freedom Rides to remove the repossession with the zero balance from her credit bureau, because the account was terminated due to a mechanical issue. The facts are as follows: 1. On August 12, 2011, Freedom Rides leased a 2006 Toyota Scion to [redacted]. 2. On March 1, 2013, [redacted] had the brakes lines replaced and some exhaust work done on the vehicle. Freedom Rides assessed $228.54 to her account. 3. On March 18, 2013, Freedom Rides leased a second vehicle to [redacted], a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. 4. On May 6, 2013, [redacted] brought her vehicle in for service complaining about a burning smell. Freedom Rides diagnosed the problem as a clogged throttle body and a faulty trans motor mount. Freedom Rides assessed $191.84 to her account for the cost of the repairs. 1. On May 15, 2013, [redacted] brought her vehicle back complaining of a no-start. Freedom Rides diagnosed the problem as faulty crank and cam sensors, a bad ignition coil, and an electrical short. Freedom Rides assessed $551.62 to her account for the cost of diagnosing the problem. Since further repairs were necessary, [redacted] decided to end the lease early and not complete the repairs. In order to terminate the account in good standing, [redacted] would have had to pay all of the above charges plus the early termination fee of $350.00 in accordance with her contract. [redacted] paid $53.90 of the total amount due, which left a remaining balance of $1,268.10. Freedom Rides agreed to report her account as closed and “paid as agreed” when she paid $1,000.00 of the amount due. Freedom Rides assessed $1,000.00 to her 2001 Dodge Ram account. 2. On May 20, 2013, [redacted] paid $5.45 towards the $1,000.00 due. 3. On June 20, 2013, [redacted] returned the 2001 Dodge Ram as a voluntary repossession. 4. As of the date of this letter, [redacted] owes Freedom Rides $994.55 for the unpaid repairs and early termination fee on the Toyota Scion and $1,153.58 for unpaid rent, late charges, and excessive wear and tear on the Dodge Ram. In response to [redacted]’s concerns, Freedom Rides provides the following resolution: 1. Freedom Rides is willing to settle this matter with [redacted] for $1,500.00, which must be paid by April 30, 2015. 2. In exchange for paying $1,500.00, Freedom Rides will report both accounts as closed and “paid as agreed,” which will remove the repossession codes from her credit bureau. 3. In addition, we stipulate that [redacted] withdraw all derogatory remarks from her complaint as they are unfounded and untrue. If [redacted] has any other questions or concerns about her accounts, we would be happy to assist her. Our Customer Service Manager, [redacted] Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I was leasing a car Saturn ion 2007, (green), my lease was for two years I believe, well about four or five months into the lease, I was accepted to trucking school, I called and spoke with manager at the Easton location because that's where my original lease was made, I first leased a Toyota camry I belive it was a 2001, and it broke down on me the next day from the day I purchased it, they knew that car was garage and they still let me get, so after I complained, they sent me to their seaford office to get a replacement car which was the Saturn ion, I paid my weekly car payment and insurance on time, one day ahead of time, well when I was accepted to school, I told them that I will no longer need the car, so the manager at freedom rides in Easton, told me if I can come in and prove to him that I was going to school, which I did, you can check their file on me, that I would be able ton terminate the lease and didn't have to pay the early termination fee which was $750.00, and return the car, well I did return car with no problems, and today I go online to get a credit check, and they have the car on my credit report saying that I owe $12, 000 dollars and some change, and my credit score is 484(poor), and I want this car token off my report, they told me nothing of this, and this was being very dishonest, and I never was dishonest to them, and I want this matter resolved, well I called them today twice, and they hung up on me twice, first time it was ([redacted]), second time it was ([redacted]), thank you.Desired Settlement: I want this car off my credit report, as soon as possible, thank you.
