Mr. [redacted]'s compliant is unfounded. We are a salvage company. We were hired by Mr. [redacted]'s insurance company, [redacted] Insurance Company ([redacted]), on a claim involving used merchandise that was damaged in transit. [redacted] honored his claim and paid...

it. Once his claim was satisfied [redacted] instructed us to pick the merchandise. We had [redacted] pick up the goods. We notifies [redacted] that the material was picked up and sent them a receipt. Mr. [redacted] was absent the day we picked up the goods. His only required notification was that the goods were gone when he returned. AGHCS did not require us to send him the receipt. [redacted] was entittled to the receipt as they now owned the damaged cargo when the claim was satisfied.
Please remove this complaint as Mr. [redacted] was not entitled to the donation receipt his insurance - Company was. IT was [redacted] who hired our company.

Mr. [redacted]'s issue is with his insurance company [redacted] ([redacted] Insurance Company). We are not a party to their contractual relationship. Our company was hired by [redacted] to remove the damaged material from his facility. We did so. The donation we receipt we obtained is property of the insurance company. It is Mr. [redacted]'s duty to obtain this donation receipt form his insurance company. We were hired by the insurance company so any documents we obtained are the property of this insurance Company.
Finally, Mr. [redacted] cannot file a claim be paid for the claim and then take a tax credit for the donation. If Mr. [redacted] is paid in full for the loss than he has no loss and then cannot take a tax credit. Alternatively, if he settled the claim for less than his cost he has a loss against his income for the difference between what he paid for the goods and what he received from the insurance company. He then cannot take a donation credit for the claim anyway you look at it.
Please remove this from our record.
