Review: We had Fulena pavers bid paving on August 13, 2013 and approved the next day. Don said it may be a month or so and refused to give a exact day. As months past he gave us some veg start dates. As winter neared we ask and again got veg start date.in spring was again told when they were starting and no-show. it has been 10 months and this company needs to be flagged as one that does not have good company practices.Desired Settlement: A phone call explaining why they operate this way.

Review: In 2007 Fulena Pavers blacktopped my driveway. The contract stated that the blacktop would be compacted to approximately three inches thick. Now in 2014 there are five areas in the driveway that are crumbling. One area is only onehalf inch thick. The other areas are similar. I have called Fulena Pavers five times since March 18, 2014. No one has come to check the problem. I talked once to the owner . He said that the blacktop COULD NOT be onehalf inch thick. He also asked me if I thought that the blacktop would last 50 YEARS.Desired Settlement: I want Fulena to install at least two additional inches of blacktop to my entire driveway or refund the original amount of $4000.00 that I paid .

The driveway named in the complaint was installed on or around 6/25/2007, which would be approximately 7 years ago.

The guarantee on asphalt is one year from the date of completion. This period holds true for commercial installations as well. A normal maintenance bond required for commercial work is one year, if a second year is requested the premium is increased.

The driveway has been used for seven years and has far exceeded the time period of the guarantee on the driveway.

My complaint is that portions of the driveway are one half inch thick. The contract stated that the blacktop would be compacted to approximately three inches thick. Now areas of the driveway are crumbling. I am sure that the sealing processes that I have had done have slowed down the deterioration process, but I feel cheated with the very thin layer of blacktop that was installed, no matter that it was 7 years ago. I have my copy of the contract signed by a representative of Fulena Pavers Inc.

Review: We have a shared driveway with our neighbor and had to have it paved again, hired the company in this compliant to do the work. The price between my neighbors and myself was more then 10,000. The day they came it took them about 4 hours because they rushed for we were to get a lot of rain that day, asked about it and they told us the rain was good for it this would cool it down faster. They finished and the rain came and rain for about 4 to 5 hours. That was August 28 2014 as the year went by I noticed that the little rock were coming loose and coming out, I called the gentleman Ron S[redacted] he said he would come and look at it and never showed up. The winter went by and in the spring the areas of loose pebbles that had been coming loose all year was really bad. We called the company several time and finally they agreed to put sealant on it and that would cover it up and do some tamping down to the areas. Today they came and sealed it and it is no different then before the sealant. We also have a run off problem with they way the graded the drive which was never taken care of. Paying over 10,000 to this company and getting no resolution to this problem is not acceptable.Desired Settlement: Would come and put another coat of asphalt and seal it before the winter time

In reference to phone call message left on 9/14/15 by Debbie stating she had talked with Ron S[redacted] and when they had a crew in our area they would stop and access the driveway have not seen them as of 9/15/15.
