Funeraria Hermanos

Review: I had a loved one cremated by Funeraria Hermanos in August 2013. My loved one expired in August in [redacted], New York and I live in North Carolina and conducted business with [redacted] who is also associated with [redacted]. I have been calling and attempting to get my loved one's ashes mailed to me and paid for this service in advance and still have not received the ashes nor the death certificates. Each time I call and speak with [redacted] he tells me that the ashes are en-route or his partner [redacted] tells me I have to deal with [redacted]. I am not even sure if my loved one was actually cremated. We the family was undecided on how the final rest was going to take place rather a straight cremation or a viewing then a cremation. The funeral home made a forced decision for us because they failed to refrigerate the body and we had no choice but to do a straight cremation, and when I asked to see my loved one I was told that the body had an odor and could not be viewed. Imagine how devastated my family was. Now here we are in October and the funeral home still has not produced crematory remains, no death certificate and I have asked several times for the crematory's name, address and telephone number to verify she in fact has been cremated and was not given that information, nor the death certificate numbers in relation to my loved one. Please help me resolve this matter as it is mentally exhausting, and is causing the family and loved one of the deceased much anguish,Desired Settlement: I would like to have my loved one's ashes and the death certificates (plural) that were paid for in advance. I do not want nothing else from this business as I do not plan to use this establishment again. I used it because I was trying to support this [redacted] in his business but that proved to be futile.
