Review: On 4/**/2013, I with my husband went to purchase a two piece living room set (Levine - charcoal)along w/a rug. To which I paid $900.00 in full in cash. I was given a delivery date between May [redacted] thru May [redacted]. I went on a weekly basis to see the status of my furniture, to which I was told that there was an issued w/the delivery from the warehouse. I waited patienly thru the rest of the month of May. In June, I kept going to the furniture store to see the status of the furniture and speak w/the manager and/or saleman. Again I was told it there was an issued w/the delivery of the furniture to the warehouse. The furniture was being delivered from Ashley's furniture to the warehouse, but it never got there. At that point I was agitated. My husband and I kept going to the furniture store every 3 or 4 days. On June [redacted] the furniutre store/warehouse managed to deliver my sofa, but not the rest of the furniture (love seat and rug). Again, a few days later I went to see what happened w/the rest of the furniture. Again I was told there was an issued w/the warehouse. I was upset and was yelling at the sales man regarding their excuses of a delivery date of every Saturday. At one point My husband was offered a standing lamp and another sofa for our inconvenience. My husband responded that I dont' need another damn sofa. Well, this past weekend Saturday June [redacted], I come to find out that the furniture store is no longer there. There was no phone call, no delivery of furniture, or another address to which I can go to claim my furniture.Desired Settlement: My desire settlement would be to get the rest of my furniture and/or replace it. If I can't get what is owed to me then I want a refund.I spent almost a year looking for furniture that I liked. $900.00 is not easy money to save.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your consideration and response to this matter. I've never went thru this

process before, so I am a little afraid. I faxed over the receipt from the furniture store and I'm also sending it as an attachment. Please advise of anything else.

Review: I purchase some furniture from this store about 5 months ago. After almost a month fighting for the delivery date the so call manager "[redacted]" deliver me the wrong furniture and told me to keep it in my house while the correct furniture arrive. After a few months the guy calls again and told me they need to take the furniture out of my house in order for me to get the correct furniture. I was stupid to let them do do since then they closed down both of their furniture stores. When I when to complaint some more I was told no one knew of them and they stole thousands of dollars from clients with the same case as me. My mother almost had a heart attack after seen how we got robbed the only money we hardly safe for a new furniture set. The police is not been helpful and no one seen to care that over 50 people got robbed and thousands of dollars are gone.Desired Settlement: I just want justice to be done. I have information from another local business that this guy has been robbing local residents for years now. I'm so disgust to think the police is letting this type of fraud go by. I just wish I could get my money back and if not at-least know that those thieves got arrested and serve the time they need to for so much damage cause.

Review: On Wednesday, June **, 2013, I went in person with my wife, [redacted], to Furniture City Warehouse, located at [redacted], and ordered a wooden closet with a mirror. The total cost of the closet was $400.00. I left a deposit in the amount of $200.00 dollars in cash with [redacted] the salesperson there. I tried to pay with a credit card but was told to pay in cash. I was also told no tax was going to be added to my bill. On Saturday, June **, my wife went in person to pay the balance of the closet, $200.00 dollars in cash. [redacted] told us that she preferred that we not pay cash on delivery because she did not trust the deliverymen with the money. The closet was promised to be delivered on Saturday, June ** between 2 6 pm. It should be noted that [redacted] presented herself as the owner of the store during our transaction. We were under the impression that our business transaction was with her. Unfortunately, the closet delivery date was postponed several times, and ultimately never delivered. The first time there was no reason given; the closet was not delivered on Saturday, June **. I called and was told the closet would be delivered on the following Monday, June**. The closet was not delivered on Monday. My wife called and was told the closet was to be delivered on Wednesday, June **. The closet was not delivered on Wednesday either. My wife called again and was told that the closet would be delivered on Friday, June ** after 5pm. My wife waited for the closet that Friday. Finally, at about 7pm, my wife called the store again to inform them that it was getting late and the closet was still not delivered. [redacted] told her that she was very upset with the delivery people because they told my wife they were going to deliver the closet on Friday. According to [redacted] the closet was supposed to be delivered on Saturday, June **. The closet was not delivered on Saturday either. My wife called again and left a message. The closet was never delivered.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund for the item I never received.

Review: I spent 3200.00 in this furniture store, I called to inquire about my delivery and they were not answering. I went in person and it is closed down...Desired Settlement: I want a full refund because I never received any furniture

Review: I went to Furniture City Warehouse and paid in full for 1 loveseat and 1 sofa chair in the amount of $760.00 on 5/**/13. I also placed 1 Bedroom Set and 1 Bunk Bed on lay-a-way in the amount of $140.00. The sales associate ([redacted]) said it would be delivered within 7 to 10 business days. After 10 days had passed I went back to the store [redacted] gave me the number to the warehouse, I called and they said the set was on back order it would be delivered the next week. After the week passed I went back to the store and met a different sales associate ([redacted] not sure on spelling) who then gave me a different date. I told them I wanted my money back because this was going on for far to long and I did not want to do business with them anymore because they were not reliable. Every week it was something new and the phone numbers would change, the last numbers that were given to me just all happened to be disconnected now.I went back to the store on 6/*/13 to the location at which I made the purchase, and the store is no longer there. The sign and all the employees were gone.Desired Settlement: I would like my full refund of $900.00 return to me. I would like to see Furniture City Warehouse brought to justice.
