And from the first moment I was wondered how those guys are working!!! *** is a very professional person I had a big move and he helped me to choose ways how can we do thatThey told me about their trucks I asked them about dates and that was really the best company CARING about customer! They told me they can pick up everything and leave in their own storage (price was very low (again, in compare with other companies, gvan lines won again))And I had my stuff in their storage for a couple weeks
By the way, one more thing about GVAN LINES! They were always keeping in touch with me and after two weeks we decided to bring all my stuff to CaliforniaThey asked me, "is that Ok, for me to move with one truck and do I have another stuff in my house, they could pick up moreI said, no and they movedWhen driver and movers came to my home, that was one day before and IN ONE DAY THEY TOOK OUT EVERYTHING TO MY HOME! That was A HUGE MOVE! Guys always were asking me about "where can we put that?" "where can we bring those things?" They did everything, and next move will be with GVAN LINESThat moving company is amazingI've never left so good tips for driver and movers, but for those guys that was worth
My choice is gvan lines and I recommend this moving company to everyone

We moved from NC to Texas and used GVan linesIt was a big mistakeThey told my husband the estimate was by weight and they were giving him almost a whole truckThen it ended up being by cubic feet and they charged us double.Wish I had listened to my instincts after reading some of the reviewsWe were given an estimate and by the time our furniture was packed up it was doubledThey will nickel and dime you until you feel like you have been robbedWe were prior military and this was our worst move in yearsTheir packing was good but when we received some of our furniture it look as if it had been draggedThe customer service was awful, after they get your money you can't get in contact with the person you want to speak with anymoreThey avoid you as if they have your number blockedWe could make our first payment with credit card but when they dropped off our furniture they requested cash or money orderThey made no contact with us after they loaded our furniture
RUN! This company was horrible! I hired them to move me from Florida to Colorado. They will tell you anything to get you to use them. When I first called they said it was by weight and that I wouldn't even reach their minimum weight according to what I had told them I had. I called back when I thought I might have more than I originally thought and they once again told me I would be fine, they wouldn't charge me extra. The quote they gave me was what I would have to pay. I also asked to be pre-approved to use a credit card (as stated in their contract it must be authorized by a manger). They took my deposit and then forgot to charge me 6% fee for the credit card and charged by card again without acknowledging me (the full amount twice!).
I was told they would be there at 11am to pick up my stuff. They then called and said 330pm. They called again and said 4 then 430pm. They didn't arrive until after 5pm. I was waiting around all day for them to arrive! 10 minutes before 430pm the office called and asked how I was planning to pay which I was flabbergasted because I was told I could pay with a credit card - they said their machine was down.
When the movers finally arrived they took my credit card after talking to "headquarters". And they told me I was 400 cubic ft over the limit (mind you I was again told it was by weight not cubic ft otherwise I would have planned for that). Once again they called "headquarters" and told me it was fine.
When they delivered my stuff they were missing boxes and originally refused to put the furniture together (this is stated in their contract that they would put everything together).
I would never use this company again. When we called to ask about the box missing they guy literally said we'll have someone call you back and hung up - didn't ask for any of our information or anything.
