Review: My car battery died Nov 18, 2014. I had someone jump start the car and took it to Gabe's Mobil Station to ask if I needed a new battery. A test was done by [redacted] who told me I needed a new battery. I waited while they said they replaced the battery. I paid a fee of approximately $200.00. Soon after this repair the engine light came on in the car and car began chugging. My husband took the car to [redacted] and the diagnosis was a hose problem. I took the car back to Gabe's Dec. 1 to have them look at the car. Hoses were loose [redacted] told me and that was why car was chugging. In addition to the loose hoses, there was a noticeable broken hose that made [redacted] laugh and called the boys over to have a look. "Look how [redacted] & [redacted] fix a car! This broken hose was hot glued together." Apparently when they took the battery out to replace it they broke the hose and glued it back together. The glue did not fix the problem but rather caused more problems. Rightfully upset, my husband called [redacted] to complain and demanded the car be fixed properly with a new hose and with no additional charges, since this was caused by Gabe's Mobil Station when replacing the battery. [redacted] said the car would be fixed Dec. 3, 2014 by midday. I called midday Dec. 3 and asked when to bring the car in. [redacted] said in a little while. I asked where the part/hose was coming from. [redacted] said it was ordered by [redacted] in Watertown. I called [redacted] to see what the hold up was on this part that they were supposed to deliver to Gabe's. [redacted] told me that the hose was NEVER ORDERED! I called back [redacted] and asked why we were being lied to. Because of this confrontation, [redacted] said he may not service our car and that this hose breaking could have happened anytime. Furious that he broke the hose, hot glued it, was lying to us, and was putting off repairing the car properly was totally unacceptable. After checking and rechecking if [redacted] had called [redacted] to order the hose, I was told my car would be fixed Thurs.then Fri.Desired Settlement: Since car needs to be fixed since Nov 18,I requested the hose be sent overnight. Whatever the extra fees are to overnight the part/hose and any and all fees labor and parts to fix the car I want for FREE, since this was Gabe's fault and responsibility. Fumes are coming out of the car and emissions test will fail, not to mention I feel unsafe driving the car.
